I’ve been to Drayton Hall in Charleston, South Carolina. The left side of the house is built exactly like the right side. If you open what looks like a closet door, you will see a small winding staircase that the servants used to bring food to the second floor. It was a rice plantation at one time. Very interesting tour!

If you ever get the chance to visit Chatsworth House make sure you go at Christmas time, they decorate inside and out with themes… it’s absolutely beautiful!!

Let me just say the Winchester Mansion is not creepy it's a wonderful place to visit with odd architecture but fascinating nonetheless. The grounds are just beautiful and that era that it was built in leaves you with a feeling of joy. This all being said I've been there myself and we go there again.

Interesting video, even if centred around houses in the United States. Hate to tell you this but Chatsworth House, Blenheim Palace, Highclere Castle, and Castle Howard all make the Whitehouse look like what it is; a not particularly large 18th Century Palace.
