What's embarrasing for me is that I was fooled by cap lock key SEVERAL times, like way too many times. I would have the problem, stress over it and lose a bunch of time googling, restore it, and FORGET ABOUT IT. Then, months or years later, it happens again and I don't remember, search through configuration, try a bunch of keys, and finally get over my pride, google it, lose even more time, and find the solution. Rinse and repeat.

Option + Shift + minus or plus key while in the brush mode enables you to scroll through the different modes available in the brush blending mode.

Option + Shit + < = highlighting 3 layers Option + Shift + } = top & bottom layer only those that are visible (So, it seems)

Jesus, there is many more options to Option + Shift + Delete. You can recycle through the blending modes. The keys vary for each blending mode. Jesus I saw a shortcut in one of your videos for "toggling" the preview on and off in adjustment windows such as levels, curves, etc. I can't remember which video that was in and I don't remember the shortcut !! This would help me in my work since it would be easier to press the shortcut button while looking at the monitor instead of checking and unchecking the "preview" box. Thanks so much for your help.

great tut! i was training while watching but not all shortcuts work on my keyboard on win10 so i was trying to get out of cursor mode (i accidentaly pressed caps lock key) and i had no clue what is going on, but in next shortcut explanation on 9:30" you revealed that secret and i was like, wow, this is a savior, i havent needed to uninstall the app! ;) thanks a lot, keep up the great work on this channel!

Rule of thumb, if you want to see all options of the tools in photoshop remember to use various combinations of the SHIFT, CMD, or OPT keys you never know what surprises lie beneath!

Jesus, I was aware of most of the shortcuts, but not the Puppet Warp. I have not had the opportunity to use the Liquify filter. My biggest issue with learning PS is that there are so many tools to get use to alone much less remember their corresponding shortcuts. To me it's just more to remember. As time goes on, and my learning curve increases, the shortcuts and tips will gradually become easier to remember. Thanks.

I get overwhelmed with it all too. I find that when I see a shortcut that I know I'll use a lot, I write it down on a sticky note and stick it to my screen. I leave it there until I know the shortcut by heart. I remove the note and the next time I run across a new shortcut, I put it on a sticky note and start all over again. It's easier to remember one at a time than all at once! Good luck and have fun!

Jesús, I barely know what to say. I started this video hoping to learn a new trick or two, but they just kept coming. I bet fully half of them were shortcuts I don't currently use, but will be doing so going forward. You are always good value, but by heck this video was pure gold. BTW I doubt you'll remember me, but we met at MAX in 2016. I was there with Chuck Uebele TA'ing for Chris Cross and Bert Monroy, and we stopped to chat in the trade room, if memory serves. I'll put up a link in the Photoshop forum, because I am sure the guys will appreciate those shortcuts.

I find that to modify the size of the brushes on Mac the shortcut is: CTRL + OPTION + RIGHT CLICK (Drag Up-Down feather, Left-Right size), and not COMMAND + OPTION + RIGHT CLICK

Jesus, gracias for sharing the amezing tips... I must admit, I have one more to add. In order to 'slow you down' and be able to read the commands at the same time than follow you in your presentation... I have to change the settings to a playback speed of 0.75... that meant I don't have to stop and reverse, stop and reverse constantly... and that is coming from a fast-speaking Latina! The one that that would be totally awesome, it will be to have your presentation in a format that can be printed, so that the shortcuts are preserved along as when or for what to use them. BRAVO!! I learn a good deal today from you!

Hello iamhaving a problem with my Photoshop and I can't find any info concerning the issue. When I try to write words they do not show on my work area. No matter what font size I use they simply do not show. They were working before but stopped. Is there a way to fix this?
