My only complaint is with the dialogue and some of the cut scenes seem a little jarring. They give useful information but they feel forced in and don't fit well with what was just going on. Deacon's dialogue is kind of the same way he seems especially pissed about radio free america. It makes me think they decided to change his character after they had recorded half of the script.

And a few quick tips, 1. Don't repair fire axe and machete, too expensive, not worth it. 2. Fight hoards during day time, they gather at their hideouts like trains or caves, then use explosives to weaken them, they are much easier to kill in daylight. 3. As soon as you get to the second camp, give Tucker everything you have, do all the job for her, once you reach lvl2 in her camp, go get that Aug and extend mag, is gonna make things a lot easier.

READ for a big tip$$$ If you check your settings and go to "GAME PLAY" you can enable "AIM SNAP" which is like aim assist. I went with Tucker on my first gameplay and never finished it, I ended up restarting with the other idiot(Copeland's/aka, coop) and fixed my bike, which is what u should do so you can store ammo on your bike and increase your speed as well as your storage for fuel. I defeated my first hord on ps4 at the train next to Niro, before i even got the extra ammo pack on my bike at respect number 1, i think i was level 3 not respect level 3 but character skill, when i t00k on the hord. **********************************************************Spoliers next::******************************************************************************************************************* The game is super buggy with floating heads, texture glitches and dropping through the map. If you manage to get to the other map and enter the second mine, and you don't kill the hord before you escape, then the hords might not spawn at all after you complete the quest.

This game is awesome, the reviews were mixed but I’m glad I bought the game. There is a lot of content in here and the gameplay mechanics are done well. I really like the story cinematics, the likable characters, and the exciting action packed situations your up against. Leveling up, crafting and upgrading is really deep and fun. I give this game 8.5/10 maybe even 9/10.

Copeland camp isn't the best camp to upgrade first. Hot springs is one you'll want to upgrade more first. Its the second camp you come across and it gives you the ability to buy weapons so it's better to invest in early.

Nobody talks about ambush camps? clear ambush camps and then you can open the map and all side objectives are available on your maps like landmarks and Nero outpost and beacons. also don't try to take hordes early on, wait until you have level 2 or 3 automatic weapons and then you can try, it's not a priority but if you can reach around 9% horde story, you can get a very good early game sidearms (mp 9).. MP9 available to buy on one of the camps but need level 3 trust IIRC, which came a long way. Max your focus and stamina first while taking 1 or 2 points at health... doesn't matter how tanky you are, if you run out of stamina on hordes, pretty much dead anyway.. crossbow is a very good option for taking on the nest. 1 Molotov requires 1 beer bottle, 1 rag, and 1 kerosene... but 3 fire bolts only requires 1 scrap, 1 cedar sapling, and 1 kerosene... which you can take 3 nest with 1 kerosene ( i always ran out of kerosene due to not knowing this trick) also... b u y f u e l u p g r a d e s.... this is important The rest is like the video said... cheers for that!

@@omarsalem8731 for stamina i suggest rations your run, also make stamina cocktail which can helps you a lot... for ammo, buy ammo bags in the shop on each settlement. you can outrun the hordes so when you do resupply and you are good to go... also upgrades RPD which surely helps you ( 150 per mag is pretty good).. use explosives also helps you...

Percy The Park Keeper im actually liking it ALOT! Reminds me quite a bit of the evil within 2, just bigger, and man, that was one thing i really wanted with the evil within 2, a bunch more map to explore.. but the freakers in days gone move quite similar to the main zombie minions you face in evil within 2 so it was a nice little reminisce... hehe! here's my 5 phases of beating open world games from beginning to end 1. grind and farm a easy area and stashing excess for later harder game 2. do one story mission for every 5-10 side tasks 3. emphasize more on expanding more quick travel points (mercs/stash) 4. just like number 3, now your in the midst of the game told ya it will help 5. you now familiar with game, it's up to you for hardcore strategy from here.

Just got this game on sale for 15$ on the PS5. Fuckin worth it. It still, even 5 years later, could use a lot of work though. Like earlier I was stuck in this river because I couldn’t climb anything or just walk out of it even when the terrain was only knee high. It was so annoying. Can’t jump. tips the game does not tell you: -Save all the IPA tech looted from dead NERO techs you will need it. -It is better to use guns than melee weapons, scrap is hard to come by (and you need them to fix your melee weapon) ammo can be bought at any camp fairly cheap. -The way shown on your GPS is not always the fastest but definitely the safest(as far as dead ends and drops) -Don't bother with Stealth , I mean sure if you can sneak up behind people and stab them fine but the cross bow is a waste of time, better equip a sniper rifle and buy a silencer from a camp. -Freakers and hordes cannot hit you if you just run in a straight line, only sprint when you are about to get surrounded to keep them all on one side. -Roll and roll away , very way to avoid being eaten by freakers and killed by melee weapons. -You cannot out run sniper ambushes if Deacon says "sniper!" whjile riding stop before your bike gets trashed and you have to repair it. -Max out health first then stamina and last focus, Focus is over rated. -Do the challenges first. (main menu) they give you bonuses that you can use in the main game even if its the bronze ones they help a lot! -Loot every NPC , there is an achivement for it and it takes a lot of looting. -SMG are needed to easily kill hordes. do not even try it without one unless you are looking for a challenge. -Hordes do not chase very far. once half of them get bored and turned around pick up the ones that are still chasing. -Head shots and stealth kills give out more XP .

Actual usefull tipss the game doesnt tell you: Always keep close to your bike especially at night. Always refuel when you can. Buy ammo at camps. Its VERY cheap. Buy saddlebag and magazine upgrades to inscrease ammo capacity. Before facing a horde explore/view the surrounding area and plan the route you wanna take to kill the horde. On my first horde i missed a lot of explosives because i only saw them later after killing the horde.

Strange when someone in Hot Springs mentioned the girl hiding in that town. I went there and couldn’t get anything to react even after destroying all the nests. So it leaves it kind of up in the air to find out what you have to do next to trigger the missions sometimes.

My suggestion get nitrous for your bike to get up to some areas, and get saddle bag for extra ammo. Game also says during night not as many freakers come out of nests when you burn them in comparison during the day.

I personally gun through regular random breakers or humans and pipe bomb hordes, zero stealth play, straight up run and gun, got extra Anno on my bike now and no problem. Stealth isn't necessary unless you enjoy it.

Stealth and cover. I say these because you don't need to waste ammo for stealth kills and it gives you the highest XP to help you level up faster early on. It can help you with any enemy, even hordes. You can literally hide in a bush and Molotov the horde.

I got the game and played for a few hours and I have to say that the Batman vision , mission objective markers and minimap indicators are ruining an otherwise great experience . I think I will wait until the summer for the Survival Mode to arrive so that I can play this game properly , I wish devs will add an option to remove mini map, focus vision , fast travel and mini map separately . Assassins Creed Odyssey did a great job allowing players to disable mission objective markers (Exploration vs guided mode).

OPTICR4V3N That’s not possible. You’ll always have a Primary, Sidearm and a Special(if you bought one or got the Drifter crossbow from Digital Deluxe Ed.). But...you can swap a weapon for one you’ve found and you’ll drop the original. I believe that’s what he meant.

Copeland's Camp is NOT worth focusing on in the early game. Weapons (Hot Springs) are FAR more important than bike upgrades. The reason Copeland's camp is virtually irrelevant is because Lost Lake opens up in the first few hours of the game. Every upgrade available at Copeland's camp are also available at Lost Lake. Lost lake has way more missions and way more Trust earning potential. I'm not saying to ignore Cope's camp; I send all "survivors" to Copeland because Tucker's missions are more than enough to get good weapons early as long as you give her the drugs instead of Copeland. I also sell all meat and freaker ears to Copeland. If you just follow the quest lines you cannot achieve Trust 3 with Copeland until after the sourthern mission arc. Between survivors, meat and ears you can get Trust 3 with Copeland about the same time you get it with Hot Springs.

Can you upgrade your bike at tuckers? Says to me there's an upgrade available but when I go in the mechanic there's just refuelling and fixing. Anyone got an idea?

@@84willybum I can't yet but it keeps saying 1 new upgrade. Doubt it's a bug so maybe at level 3? Copeland's level 1 bike mods work well if you need some extra speed or traction.

@@84willybum still the same but do you have any tips on the blue circles. I know it means search area and its pretty basic with a wounded animal. My problem is the random blue circles that pop up on the map for only a couple of seconds and disappear. Usually cant find them once they're gone. Or sometimes I'll find the blue question marks and hear some gunfire but everyone is dead by the time I get there and I feel I'm supposed to save them? Somehow? Any success on your end?

The game literally tells you all of these things. There has been things I have found out though without being told, such as freewheeling the bike to conserve fuel of being able to walk it if you run out of fuel. Both done by pressing forward on the stick on its own.

This game is so good I enjoyed every second of it minus the few glitches, that i unlocked all the skills without going for the best ones first. And I done it pretty damn quick! Lol
