One glaring error is that the International Space Station is NOT the fastest the human race has ever traveled. Re-entry of the Apollo spacecraft from the Moon was 22,500 miles per hour. The ISS “only” goes 17.500 MPH.

Sorry to nit-pick but some of the footage you've used during the section on the FAST radio telescope in China is actually of the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico (the one that collapsed and destroyed itself recently - R.I.P.) - with no context given as to why you're showing a completely different installation on the opposite side of the planet.
@reginaphalange4182

I don't think that's nit-picking at all. (I'm assuming you're correct) That's terrible work from a channel that's trying to convince us they're at a professional level. It makes me wonder if they didn't know the difference, or if they did and thought we wouldn't know the difference.

The Antonov AN-225 is called Myria (MARIA - not Mira) which means "dream" in Cyrillic language of the Ukraine. It was built in the Ukraine and they completed one (Myria) and had another one 70% complete when finding was cut due to the fall of the USSR. The second one is now (possibly) going to be used to rebuild Myria since it was destroyed by Russian air strikes in March of 2022.

About Maus tank, it would probably do nothing much because: 1. it was to heavy to move on soft terrain( tanks need to be as good on any terrain ass it's possible) 2. it costet too much 3. it was perfect training target for artillery and aircrafts 4. too slow 5. and option with going under water is so much no no (soft and muddy, and some rivers are just too deep, too wide) Sorry for that, I just needed to do that:)

@bricefleckenstein9666
@bricefleckenstein9666 Жыл бұрын
@@seanrosenau2088 The Ratte never made it past concept stage. At least 1.5 Maus were actually built (2 bodies, one turret). But I think the LandCruiser was even bigger in concept than the Ratte. Take a Carl Gustav design rail gun, mount it on a frame with 4 sets of tracks at each corner. Total mass estimated in the 1800+ Ton range - about DOUBLE the Ratte - and a MUCH bigger, higher caliber, HUGE artillery piece. The Maus had very wide and long tracks, it's ground pressure was no worse than quite a few other tanks of the period, though not the best of the era.
