Just got Black Box Thinking. Two aviation case studies caught my attention in the table of contents. In aviation with the advent of the flight data recorder your mistakes are recorded in technicolor detail. Especially at take off you cant bull shit your way though the procedures or you may do so at your own peril. I cant wait to read that one.

Goldman Saks the investment bank turned bank holding company has a reading list I saw online some years ago give it a lookin. The reading list is way more than 15 books. Jack D Schwager's books would be a good start. Hedge Fund Market Wizards, Stock Market Wizards, The Market Wizards, The New Market Wizards are just some of the titles he wrote. He wrote a book on technical analysis with some man named Turner. Reminisces of a Stock Operator by Edwin Lefevre and Jesse Livermore's wrote a book How to Trade in Stocks. Top traders profess Livermore to be their muse. Short sellers recommend The Art of Short Selling and leopold Bernstein's Analysis of Financial Statements. The father of fundamental analysis and mentor of Warren B of BH fame Ben Graham wrote The Intelligent Investor and Security Analysis with one Dodd. Manias Panics And Crashes by Aliber and the original author Kindleberger now dead. Black Swan and any book by Nassim Taleb. Facts Failures and Frauds a 19 century book by Morier Evans. Trading Exchanges by Larry Harris Corporate financial Distress and bankruptcy Edward Altman. The Series Seven examination has reference materials look into that too. Any CFA book edited by Fabozzi or any other author. The CFA is the gold standard of financial analysis designations. I have read all of them and would highly recommend them to any person serious about stocks.

Sir Richard Branson could also benefit greatly from reading the Holy Scripture for ethics development. After Hurricane Maria he only helped his own Caribbean island while seeking shelter in another but not helping at all in it's recuperation. With Virgin Mobile the phone recycling program takes the phones but doesn't give you credit for a future purchase. An easy way to become a billionaire.
