I LOOOOVE the shoe section in Nordstrom Rack!!! I have so many great finds from there... P448, Ugg, Donald Pliner, Birkenstock, etc ... I shopped at Top Shop in London in the 80's LOL... Loved the cool style

I was just at my Rack yesterday, and bought some jeans and shoes. My running shoes, ASICS Kayano, which are usually $160 were there for $90. Last year's color and model, but I don't care. They're also THE best place to shop for premium denim, and have such a wide range of sizes. I'm an odd size (26 x 27), and I scored a pair of Ribcage straight leg Levis for $60! They fit perfectly! Already washed and wore them last night, lol! Thank you SO much for your suggestions. I love my All Saints bag I bought at the Anniversary sale. Their leather is SO good!!

Oh, Melissa, you have great brands in your Nordstrom Rack! We do not have any of those brands you mentioned in ours. Please be aware that this is the case in many cities. Unfortunately, we only have one NR in our area! I have been a Nordstrom customer since the 80’s, and I refuse to pay shipping on Nordstrom Rack online! It's very frustrating and they really need to change that!!

So Michael by Michael Kors bags at the Rack are quality but not those sold at TJ Maxx? Aren’t they the same mass produced bags- although the leather bags seem nice enough to me!

This is a great question. The reason why I always pause at Rack is because there’s a chance bags will either come from Nordstrom or be returned from Nordstrom.com and they will (might) keep it at the rack if it goes on sale. Sooo, I pause and check out each bag to see if it’s the real designer label or manufactured. Sorry that was maybe confusing but hope this makes sense! 🫶🏼

Let me start by saying Melissa does find gems. The store she shops at is not what I consider the high-end store of the area. She has the ability to go through and find these things. She is amazing. So do not give up on your store if you think it is a dud.

@@melissabgoodwin Yes! Every Rack is different. I find the Rack stores in the more affluent areas tend to have more designer brands. A lot of the designer brands are available online as you mentioned, but are regulated to one sad designer rack in most stores.
