The outcome of the spin is determined the moment you press SPIN. This is pretty easy to prove once you play a game thousands of hours and recognize the patterns at the start of the spin and you can predict whether you will get 3 coins or not. I can get it right about 90% of the time on this slot - not 100% because the reels have 4 variations of speed but I've sat next to strangers and guessed I'd get 3 coins 10 to 15 times in a row in front of them. Whether I STOP the spin or not - it's the same outcome (I get the coins and the bonus). He was betting 4.80 which can be found on a 2c machine (2c machines have 1.20, 2.40, 3.60, 4.80 and 6.00 denoms I believe) and on wonder 4's but my comment explained how I know its not on a wonder 4. Buffalo Gold slots come in 1c, 2c, 5c and 10c denominations. Depends on the casino's preference which ones are made available to players. Some of them have a menu you can change it to a higher denomination but not all casinos make that menu available, at least mine doesn't. I am not sure if its a setting they can enable or disable in the programming or if when they buy the machine they have the choice but I have seen some high limit players change the denomination on it in videos on youtube, which is how I know this.
