Easy way to get those tight spots out of the chain: where you say NOT to put the chain on the chain link tool to break it, put the chain there!, then give it a bit of pressure with the tool, and presto the tight spot loosens up. Don't even have to take the chain off the bike. But i agree NEVER break the chain using that spot!

this is fine if your sure each new connection is through a undeformed plate or never been popped or broken through thats how to stop braking chains reusing links that have been broken is risky

@@AlfredoMancuso yessir it works but they are all the same brand of chain and all brand new so nothing like the frankenchain phu made here lol. ive checked the pins of my chain almost every ride because im scared they will work their way out out but so far its held strong

i wouldnt do it with t he half link chains tho they come with a special pin for a reason. if you dont use that special pin , it will disconnect itself eventually
