Dolomite Beach is still under rehabilitation, the government is still monitoring the rehabilitation from time to time, when I was young it is very clean and we used to swim there and there are so many stores and vendors too where in you can buy foods and other things but due to the garbage the storm brings and the garbage from some people it got dirty so the government close it down and rehabilitate it to save the beach. The government close down not only the Dolomite beach but other beaches too like Boracay in Cebu province, it still under rehabilitation because of the dirt and garbage from tourists, storms, establishments and others. The government even close down establishments that violated sanitary rules that is why there are so many demolitions going on there. The government is also rehabilitating other water forms in other places.😀😀

If you want bigger and more proper rides, go to Enchanted Kingdom, it is like the PH version of disneyland. They have higher water rides and coasters. Also, good thing you took that jacket, because you cannot underestimate the cold inside.

It was rehabilitated and sand was put in it. try OKADA Manila in Pasay city next time 😁 i think the great fountain show is at 5:30 or 6pm. There's good buffet there, the medley. But the hotel is expensive. Casino is free of course 😅

Actually what's significant about Dolomite Beach is its transformation from a garbage dump to a clean beach. Although it's not yet completely clean. The rehabilitation is still ongoing. But if you check old photos of Manila Bay, you'll see the huge difference. And it's a testament that cleaning up something that polluted is possible if people set their minds to it.

15:31 Kuya Mac, there is a story behind the Dolomite beach. A bit of political and environmental issues were happened to that. That Manila Bay was way soooo dirty and the air was sooo bad that it has a dark and a very foul smelling water and its enviroment. There came the late President Duterte who ordered a rehabilitation of the bay and the plan was heavily criticized by the opposing political party saying why spending money for the project and why not to put the money for the COVID problem. The crushed dolomites were used to cover the old black sand for aesthetic and filtration of the water on top of cleaning up and removing the slime and the garbage. And the story goes....

Hi Mac, just to give u a hint about Dolomite. It became popular to locals as it was badly polluted before and now rehabilitated, that is why until now they are not allowing anyone to swim. Because of the unsafe coliform content of the water they prohibited anyone to swim there, but compared before it is improving and nearly reach the safe level. Hopefully in coming months/years it will be declared safe. Enjoy!
