Sadly it’s just how it is, “we” hunt animals over the years for meat or their special animal structure “driving” the animals to nest extinction and clearly destroy the world by burning fossil fuels for our “every day” driving, we are the players playing the game, while companies of gasoline, cigarettes or other smoking products, factories for meat pretty much do it for the money as the planet gets hotter and hotter

Being born and raised in the Amazon, I had a few encounters with anacondas, piranhas and other scary-looking fish, but I have to mention that the most terrifying sight was of the black caimans, when I went on a trip to visit my family down the river. I can clearly remember the moment when my grandfather directioned his flashlight to the water and a whole bunch of bright eyes reflected the light. Couldn't sleep at that night at all. By the next morning, we took a small boat to go fishing and saw one of those just hanging by the shore, casually sunbathing and possibly unaware of it's greatness.

It all depends on the quality, whether the knob is broken, polished or unpolished; some knobs are especially difficult, for the entrance is so small, it has to fight it's way through, getting stuck in the doorway ............. Then there are the deformed, broken knobs, which they have regretfully entered, only to find themselves crammed in a room among many other foreign guests which have already been vacationing there for quite some time ...............

A giant centipede is not a pet!! I think so. A tarantula, a comodo dragon, a snake, an alligator, a crocodile, . ... they are not pets!! ''I can keep it in my house!! Then, it can be called -pet-!!'' There is no such thing. They are not domestic animals! Yes, they hunt deers, little chickens, zebras, lambs, fawns, rabbits at their natural habitat. Survival instinct. This is normal. This is nature. They are predators. And I don't see these actions, I don't want to see these actions. Especially, I don't set a camera to catch the scenes! But, If you keep a giant centipede in a metal cage or in a glass box, and you send an alive little chicken, a mouse or a rabbit in there, and especialy if you set a camera in this cage, you are not a normal person. That's it. Yes, I have two cats in my home. They are ''PETS''. And of course, I don't feed them with alive little chickens or little rabbits!! (And all we know, they can kill and eat them in a bloody way!) But I don't do this. I use my phone camera to catch their funny moments.

Giant otters are named ariranha here in Brazil. A couple years ago i saw one on a zoo, these animals are realy large and can be very agressive. There is a known story here that a man was killed by a bunch of them when saving a kid in a zoo. That happened over 40 years ago. The kid jumped over the fence to play with the animals because they looked nice to him. But the moment he entered there the ariranhas went to get him. A man named Sílvio Delmar Holenbach, sergeant, saw that happening and jumped inside to take the kid out. Well, while he successfully saved the boy, the ariranhas caught him and he was bitten to death.

@@sheikhyaboooty Me too. The mini Scolopendra species that get into my house have me jumpy and peeking behind the door before entering a room for days after killing one. They don't die! I once killed one (tried real hard) and it kept running around and I kept whacking it with my flip flop until it fell to pieces and the pieces were trying to run around! Finally it stopped moving and so did it's pieces. It so freaked me out that I'm still wiggin over it and it was about a year ago. I thought this thing must have come directly out of a portal to Hell. And I'm also fortunate like you; not afraid of any snake, spider, mouse, etc. in fact, I like them all. Just don't show me one of them centipedes man. When I get to Heaven, I'm going to ask God why He created those things while the rest of His Creation is so beautiful. (I don't think I would do that when I finally meet Jesus because I'll be much too busy lying on my face before Him in silent fear, worship, love and admiration)

As an Aussie I wasn't impressed we have just about all of them and a hell of a lot more, yet we don't even think about them really. We just co-exist and not molest the animals/insects and we rarely get bitten by anything. You just need to be smart about it. :)

No matter how much you try to overplay Australian wildlife, South America has it beat in almost every way. Not just in terms of pure danger (the Amazon has far more predators that may actually target/prey on humans when compared to Australia), but in terms of difficulty getting medical attention in time.
