@@AnaAcapella so your normal belt that goes through your pant loops is called your “inner belt”. And the gun belt aka. Duty belt, goes over top of it, and is secured in place by small strips of Leather fastened by Velcro or buttons called “keepers” (because they KEEP you’re gun belt in place) so if watch the show, the gun belts are worn too big and hang loose around their waists below the “inner” , when the gun belt should be directly over top of the “inner” This is a problem for securing your equipment in place, and can cause problems when trying to access or retain a piece of equipment on your gun belt. Not too mention it can slide out of position, effecting your muscle memory reach, ( bad guy pulls a gun, you instinctively reach for your sidearm, WHOOPS it shifted over a couple inches and now you’re fussing with your holster) Just always bothered me because it looks very amateurish and I liked the show. (Also you can tell that their bullet proof vests have no panels in them)
