I absolutely hate when i hear people talk about whats "in" or " out". First of all, do what YOU love. Second of all, its perfectly fine and very doable to have a bit of both. Imo, a "farmhouse" style was never totally neutral. It can definitely have plenty of florals and things. I have always used basic neutrals, and naturals, but throw in color as well, with "removable" items such as wall decor and pillows. It doesnt have to be either or..and it doesn't have to be "in" or "out".
