I want to get the phone mount but I don’t see that it comes with the actual phone holder part. Is that sold separately?

Hi there. You firstly need to get the portal clip that goes on to the back. Then get the phone arm. So 2 parts. Your phone attaches to the arm using MagSafe or stick the MagSafe magnet if your phone doesn’t have that. The 2 parts are sold as a bundle on the website.

I am about a month into my portal Ownership. So far my biggest query is why you’d ever need a stand while media is blocked from being used on it. You’d never need it on the stand to be functional, and if you are using it, just have it plugged in.

Great video 👍🏽 for my setup I got the spigen grip, screen protector & case. Kontrol freek joy con Thumb grips I feel adds nice flare since they come in assorted colors. I definitely recommend the spigen case, it is a lil pricey imo but worth it for sure
