I just came back from Margaritaville of the Sea cruise ship the only three things I wasn't satisfied I was not enough outlets for your phones or anyting else next the pool was too little bit too small , and the nightclub it was mostly for teenagers but other than that I had a most funnest time with my daughter

I'm sailing in less than a month. It's been a bunch of years since being on this cruise line. I've lost track, but I've sailed apprx 15 times on the old ship... and did a couple of island stays. I've been watching a few reviews of this new ship. Like i said, I've been on the old Bahamas Celebration ship many, many times, and I'm beginning to think it was a better ship before I set foot on this ship. Can't remember his name, but the entertainment director was loads of fun, and the shows had variety. Dancing, magic, games, and comedy made it loads of fun, that's why I kept going back. As i watched a few recent reviews, i think the theater area was much, much better. But we'll see in a few weeks. What I'm seeing in the reviews does not look comparable at all to the old ship. I like Port lucaya Bahamas and have been there so many times I know my way around a lil bit. I'm sure I can drive and find my way around. I know how to get to beaches and fav restaurants and two local shopping areas. I want to start going back again like iusede to, but I'm wondering if I'm gonna be doing it on this ship like I did before. Now, I like some of Jimmy Buffet songs, but im not a huge huge fan. I'm not sure if I'm gonna like the show. Also, I'm a Jack/ Bourbon and a Cigar kind of guy, i hope im not disappointed if i dont want a margarita🍹 😆 🤣 😂 I just dont understand why they committed so much of the cruise to one person or genre? Surely, they must know there are lots of folks with different tastes. One review said it's the same exact show both nights. Even if i managed to like the entertainment, i certainly dont want to see the same exact thing two nights in a row. The shows on the old Bahamas Celebration were fun and very entertaining. I got pulled on stage a few times in my trips, and it was always a hellova blast. I hope that when I get on this one, I feel better about it. Fingers crossed 🤞

As far as purchasing bottles of alcohol while aboard the ship goes, you may purchase as much as you want but you cannot drink it while on the cruise you are only allowed to pick up and take your purchase with you when leaving the boat. I.e Disembarking to the Grand Bahamas or back at the Port of Palm Beach. FYI ❤

Most cruise lines do that, hold your bottle of liquor until you depart cruise. Some cruises will let you bring a bottle of wine on board that you can drink while on cruise, this one does not.

If I were in South Florida, I'd take a cheap, balcony suite micro-cruise on the Margaritaville. The License to Chill package also sounds good for a relaxing solo excursion. I'd go during the week to avoid weekend party rowdies and noisy kids.

Hi! I think you get what you pay for. We were not disappointed. It’s definitely not fancy but it was fun. Jimmy resort in Nassau is crazy good! But can be pricey. I would go on the cruise again but only with the license to chill package. Thank you so much for watching!! 😁🚢

Hi!! This is not a major cruise line. It’s a quick two night sailing on an older ship with a fun margaritaville vibe. You basically get what you pay for. We enjoyed our cruise. But we knew this was just a 2 night Bahamas cruise. Not fancy but fun. Thank you for watching! 😁🚢

I believe Vaccinated guests must provide card and provide a negative test result tajken. Unvaccinated guests must present a negative test result and take an additional test at the port. Regs change so be sure to check the website. 🚢 👍

Not much. There isn’t much by the port unfortunately. There is a cute little bar where you can get drinks in a coconut.

You don’t have to be vaccinated but if you are not you have to bring a negative tesr to the cruise and be tested again at the port. if you are vax you need to bring your card and a negative test. Masks were not required. Guidelines are changing regularly so be sure to check the website. Hope that helps! 🚢

It is a quick two night cruise. There aren’t a ton of activities geared toward young kids that I saw. But it’s so quick I think they would have fun. There’s a pool for swimming. The buffet is kid friendly. The Jimmy Buffett show is fun. The children I saw on board seemed to be having a great time. Hope that helps!

Just got back last week. Everything is an upcharge. Pizza isn't free. Hamburger outside isn't free. As long as you know they are going to charge for everything even if you pay upfront they will hit you for fuel surcharges. It is much cheaper to go on MSC or Carnival. .... I don't like surprises and I was told at booking I paid everything upfront. This was my 33rd cruise and it was not my best experience. Just booked a night longer cruise on MSC for half the price of Margaritaville. An experienced cruiser that was not happy. I would not recommend this cruise whatsoever

I hear ya. There aren’t a lot of two night cruises so this is an option for those who can’t take a long time off from work. But this is definitely not a major cruise line. We stuck to the free food. Except JWB because we had the chill package. But like most cruise lines there is an up charge for some food on board. Thank you for watching!! 😊
