Florida State Softball and Oklahoma Softball played in game 1 of the Super Regionals during the 2024 College Softball Season. Super Regionals are a best of 3 series, with the winner advancing to the Women's College World Series.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

It’s too bad FSU’s pitching staff is down two of its best three, or this might be more competitive. Kelly Maxwell had one of her worst nights I have seen in terms of pitch control, but the defense made some big plays to limit the scoring. She will be better in her next outing, likely in the WCWS. Either Deal or May starts tomorrow,

Maxwell didn't have her usual control. But she gutted out a win. FSU scores 7.5 runs per game. Maxwell held them to 3. Do not be surprised if Gasso starts her in game 2.
