Thanks for uploading this. I use to watch the vhs tape every day after school and then play football in the backyard with my bros. Side note: I was at the game at Rich Stadium. What an afternoon.

Thanks for uploading this! I wore this tape out as a kid and haven't seen it since the mid 90s. Brings back great memories, thanks again!

I was at 2 of these live. The Cardinals over the Bucs(still the biggest 4th quarter comeback in NFL history) and the Vikings erasing a 23 point deficit with 28 unanswered points to beat the Eagles.

JT SMITH and Anthony Carter - people who really don’t get the recognition they deserve. As a kid, and would watch this - I always wondered how JT would have been on a better team 86-88 were his best years and 87 (in this video) WAS his best year statistically.

Who is here after Vikings insane comeback over the Colts

I was a Vikings fan way back in the Joe Kapp days. He was nuts, and I loved watching him play. The Vikings are always a team to watch because they are never out of it. So, whenever I get a chance to see them play, I break out the popcorn and buckle up because I know I'm in for a wild ride.

If this list was updated, the only one that would be left remaining from this video would be the 32 point Bills comeback.
@curtisjoseph3 жыл бұрын
Correct. And the other 14 games would all feature Atlanta Falcons collapses
@smoothALOE3 жыл бұрын
I don’t agree. I think at least 4 or 5 of these would still be in it. The double comeback for Staubach in 1979 would be one of them, along with the Bills’ comeback. I’d probably still include the Marathon at the Lake, too.

The 49ers comeback would still be as well. Big comeback and a monumental one as many think it was the birth of the dynasty.

@@sylvesteryoung2514 the fact that the Browns played in two of the most memorable playoff games and that they both came in the same year, is remarkable. The only thing that would’ve made it even greater is if they had played in a third playoff game…

Maybe this video should be re-done with the comebacks that's happened after 1993. Especially a certain Super Bowl (Sorry Atlanta)

Seems like the 70s was a great thing for the NFL regarding ratings and top super bowls the narrations were good too. Great decade for the NFL. But the NBA owned the 80s for sure

Not even close to the biggest comeback in NFL history. Hell it's not even the Vikings biggest comeback in history. 17 points in the 2nd half isn't exactly 28-3.

They also said the Vikings played outside in the cold for their road game in 1985. They were playing indoors by then, weren’t they? I think that loss the Bucs had against Chicago was also not in Tampa, so not in the “southern Florida sun.”

Now they have to remake this list all over again to pick out the 15 greatest comebacks in NFL History because the Vikings took the #1 spot from the Bills after coming from behind 33 points. * = indicates the team who won. Here is my 15. I wish they can do 25 Greatest Comebacks. 1. Colts vs. Vikings* 33 points down 2. Oilers vs. Bills* 32 points down 3. Saints vs. 49ers* 28 points down 4. Patriots* vs. Falcons (Super Bowl LI) 25 points down 5. Eagles vs. Vikings* 23 points down 6. Eagles* vs. Giants 21 points down 7. Redskins/Commanders vs. Cowboys* 13 points down (Staubach's Final Season) 8. Oilers vs. Broncos* (The Drive 2) 15 Points Down 9. Packers vs. Seahawks* (NFC Championship Game) 16 points down 10. Patriots vs. Colts* (AFC Championship Game) 18 points down 11. Jets vs. Browns* (Marathon by the lake) 10 points down 12. Bears* vs. Cardinals (Monday Night Miracle 2) 20 points down 13. Dolphins vs. Jets* (Monday Night Miracle 1) 23 points down 14. Lions* vs 49ers 18 points down 15. Colts vs. Lions* 24 points behind

To leave out the Cardinals 25 point 4th quarter comeback over the Bucs screams bias because it's still the largest 4th quarter comeback in NFL history. And you'd have to add the Jags falling behind 27-0 to the Chargers in the AFC Wild Card game last season as well.

Bernie Kosar was a great QB. I used to live in Cleveland and it's a fantastic city, let no one deceive you into believing anything differently. There was a superb restaurant that was located in a bank. The best table was in the vault. On their menu was a Bernie Kosar steak. It was delicious. I believe that Bernie lived across the street from me, when I first lived there. Then, I moved to the greatest apartment building I've ever lived in. It was in downtown Cleveland iin a 22 story building. I lived on the 13th floor! How many buildings have a 13th floor? I loved it! In numerology 13 is really a 4. As a Cherokee, 4 is a sacred number. There are 4 directions, 4 winds, and 4 races. So, I felt very good about living there, and was a block and a half from my office. The apartment included a garage for my race setup BMW. I rode a motorized scooter around town, or took a town car or cab. I rarely drove anywhere. My BMW was setup for the racetrack, not a city. It was awesome. I loved living there. My apartment was decorated with Asian art and Chinese fans. I dated an intelligent and beautiful young Chinese woman. She was amazing and though no one expects this, she was quite buxom, and drew attention wherever she went. Her family owned a chain of restaurants and she had impeccable taste in her choice of eating establishments. We enjoyed the best that Cleveland had to offer in entertainment as well. My best friend and brother from another mother worked at the Cleveland Playhouses and got us tickets to Broadway-style shows all the time. She dressed like a diva, and I had to break out my tuxedo constantly just to keep up with her. My goodness, she was astonishing. I was 37 and she was 22. I am glad we didn't marry, as she wished. I wasn't prepared to marry again so soon after my divorce. Plus, I never would have married the love of my life, my adorable wife, Avenasa. But, wow, she was something! My company cut
