Most people seems to miss the thing that a good drum intro is: +The beginning of the song with only drums. +Either simple or difficult. It doesn't matter, as long as... +That drum intro is instantly recognizable and that intro puts you on the mood of the song. This said, sure some drum intros are missing. This list isn't THAT BAD tough.

Ozzy Osbourne STARTED the ENTIRE album, Diary of a Madman with this amazing piece of drum work from the legendary Carmine Appice, and it set the tone for the entire set of songs compiled on that masterpiece of an album.
