I watch ALUX everyday, and can't wait for NEW content. I SEE that your new meditation course is out, and you emphasize that this IS the most valuable content that ALUX has produced. I agree that MEDITATION is the most valuable tool a person can use. Meditation is about REMOVING your mind (at least temporarily), not modifying it or concentrating on the mind. The MIND is the obstacle to CONSCIOUSNESS which is the true goal. Hatha Yoga, which is physical, NOT mental, is ONE of many Yoga practices that CAN enhance meditation for some people. However, NON-physical YOGA clearing away the mind works for MANY more people than Hatha Yoga does. One such technique would be sitting quietly and comfortably while gazing at a candle flame ... you are banishing ALL thought ... your mind slowly cease its incessant stream of thought until you arrive at : NO THOUGHT. In this state your conscientiousness is established.

I believe once you are set on the things you want to achieve and have a plan of action, then those goals will implement into your life but it all starts with breaking old habits to form new ones. Take waking up earlier then usual for instance I know of people who spend their nights hanging our with friends to delay going home and facing the very issues which keep them stagnant. Once eliminating consistent outings one not only have time to plan tomorrows goals, they also go to sleep at a descent time to wake up as early as needed feeling refreshed. The additional award to that is saving that monet they no longer spend on constant outings to nowhere getting nothing done and they get back so much more of their time in their life allowing them to be more productive. Discipline, surround yourself with people who are on a path to achieving their goals not just talking about what they are. Their habits and mind set will rub off on you.

I used to be one of those who scoffed at the idea of meditation. Former GF was a clinical psychologist by training and introduced me to it and I was blown away at how refreshed, relaxed, and energized I felt afterwards. I may not be at the daily level yet, but I do set aside a few minutes at least 3 or 4 times a week to release and get reset with myself.

#8: If used to the extreme, you cant and wont be able to tell if you have been victimized. #15 & #16: offset each other as it requires a good amount of emotion to take any form of action. #13 can be influenced by #15 as too much control over your emotions will repel some and bring the wrong people to you. Maybe you need to run this list by the APA before publishing the video? Im in grad school for Psychology and I can see several problems with a few topics on this list. A professional clinician would have a field day with it. Just a thought.

1. Up early. Not 6:00am early. 4:30am early. WHY?!?! Two reasons. a) I've done half a days work before the patients start showing up. b) I have time to do tasks correctly without rushing. 2. Game plan. Before my feet hit the floor I have a game plan if not for the whole day, at least for the pre-clinic hours. This drives me forward. 3. Never start a new day with tasks left over from yesterday. OK, to be fair, doesn't always happen, but at least that is the goal. Without it charts, etc would probably sit for a couple days. That stretch between 4:30 and 8:00 is a good time to wrap up tasks. 4. Establish good boundaries and compartmentalize your life. I admit this is my weakest attribute. Work and education (reading for work) seem to always take priority and I know that leads to burn out. Remember 2 things: you end up in the same box as the fool. and to quote Lincoln "It is not the days in your life, but the life in your days that matters" 5. Save/Invest. Do you work for someone else? No you don't. You are the hired CEO of a subcontracting firm called ME, Inc. Paychecks come into ME Inc. They pay their employee (you). If you have worked in most industries you know that the corporation expects the employee to bring in twice their compensation. So the money that comes into ME, Inc., half goes to the employee. The rest is invested. What are the goals of ME, Inc.? To build a portfolio of renewing financial instruments that will pay the salary compensation out of the dividends (so that if you get laid off, you don't miss a mortgage payment), and to build a portfolio of untouchable, long term tax free or tax deferred financial instruments so that someday ME, Inc. can be dissolved (retired) and the employee will get a big fat golden parachute while the renewing portfolio continues to give them a paycheck (how many people do you know who retire with 100+% of their last paycheck?)

In my opinion staying up late then waking up early won't help. It may sometimes but doing it consistently will be bad for your health. I totally agree that it's a habit of a rich to wake up early but sleeping late, i guess it won't work for everybody. By setting a time of sleep that will give you complete 8 hours or 9 hours of sleep, will improve your time management skill, productivity, discipline to finish tasks before the bed time, and mental health.

Sleeping less than 7 hours a night leads to a worse immune system, worse health, higher chances of cancer, heart disease and everything bad, including early death. This is not mitigated by exercise. But exercise is necessary to be healthy, it's extremely healthy. Agreed. Getting up early is not sleeping less and usually is done by successful people.

Another great video from Alux. Well thought out and produced. The info is on point with how i taught myself to live. Working for yourself is a whole different movement; the rich and wealthy are not wasting time. I am striving to be well set with a few people in my circle who think and move the same way. Blessings to all who are building their empires. Hope to see all of you in the world of success!

For me meditation is like daydreaming about having something that has yet to happen. I day dreamed so much about a vacation to be one time I actually figured out how to use resources I already had. I was saving towards that vacation and when I touched on my resources during a morning meditation the vacation came faster and with greater options. That's how I meditate.

Well, I DO NOT use alcoho and/or tobaccol, but I THOROUGHLY ENJOY A Porterhouse Steak along with A FULLY LOADED Baked Potato with ALL of the goodies, and A Slice (or TWO) of New York Style Cheesecake!!!! (YUMMY!!!! YUMMY!!!) I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND SUGGEST THAT ALL OF US LIMIT (IF NOT ENTIRELY ELIMINATE) THE USE OF PROFANITY!!! It has been my experience that the USE OF PROFANITY just rubs people the wrong way. FINALLY,I would also advise using old fashioned manners and being polite. For example, opening the door for a woman or helping her with her seat are two GREAT MANNERS for gentlemen to use on a Regular and Consistent Basi.

For those too busy trying to get rich and no time to watch this video: Get up early, exercise, preplan your day, groom, meditate, eat healthy, keep track of goals, take ownership, listen more than talk, keep learning, understand your finances, invest, get involved with people and grow that relationship, mind your own business, control your emotions, bonus: stay away from strip clubs and never trust any woman named candy, don’t gamble with your own money, and make besties with a damn good lawyer. 😂

I wake up at 4am everyday, even on Sundays. Then Meditate via HeadSpace App. After that I do Mind Training sessions(visualizations, affirmations and quick mental games). Then head for a 4 mile jog. Then eat breakfast, head to work(self employed). Then when i return in the evening, I do weight lifting. Pre-program the day that follows, meditate and sleep.

I love your videos and it motivates me alot to act differently in situations i find myself than i would act. Im in accounting but dont have degree/ i have economics degree so i only get lower paying jobs due to not having any degree in accounting. Now im taking class and im working full time. Since i just last year started managing my money and saving..i am not sure if i should continue to save and have this job and later on continue my accounting class and get Master's in accounting or i stop saving aggressively and put most of money towards my degree. Its a challenge because i started saving late in life and now i have a goal to get my degree and this sabotage my savings in the short run. But if i dont take my degree i will always be working around same paying jobs and would never improve my skills and income significantly. Please advise what should i do. Im 35 year old.
