Who do you think the true geniuses of Metallica? Was it previous member Dave mustain, now apart of megadeth? Or do you think it's David Hatfield. Personally, I think Dave Mustain is the genius behind Metallica. After they booted Mustain they continued to use the guitar style that Mustain invented and after some amount of years metallic can has to pay Dave Mustain royalties on certain songs because the court did in fact say determine that he was the original creator for the guitar riffs. If Dave Mustain never was apart of Metallica then I'd think Metallica would never be who they are today. I personally think hetfield and the rest of Metallica are kind of shitty people for fucking Mustain over for so many years and attempting to ruin his music career
