I'm currently in a LDR tomorrow Feb 4 we will have 5 months. I have to say that I've struggled so many times as we have a 12 hour difference so this has been challenging. I thank you for these tips.. Most of them we have accomplished as praying for each other. I certainly hope we make a dream come true!! ❤

I was recently praying about my relationship with a female friend of mine to progress in one way or another.. A few days of praying later, I saw a KZbin short about long distance relationships. I had heard of them before but that sparked something in me to go looking for more. Your video has helped me understand what the commitment would be. She’s the most Godly woman in my life and I would love to spend my the rest of my life with her.. Now to see what she thinks.

being prayerful is the key ❤️🙏🏻 i love her and it is worth to change my whole life, to be with her. to let my second half fall to be one with her. thats a great point from the video and so true to me. this emotional thriving is keeping every thing together. so work, save enough money, learn her language. use the technology by texting in speed of light throug the world together, being humbe and very important maybe the most, be compassionful. solve problems amd talk as much as you can together about the day, send photos, selfies, videocalls. stay always connectet. Recognize yourselves as husband and wife. Show her or him that he or she is. take a break, tell them everything that happend. no no secrets!

I was never ever a fan of LDR but I truly see how patient and kind the guy is with me and I can see how committed he is to continuing this relationship. Your video really helps and makes me realize that it's worth it. May God bless you and your husband 🤍

This is so compelling. I'm in a three month long distance relationship. Wished I had seen this before I started because I was doubtful it could work. But the daily talking first in, last out began to cement a relationship. It compelled conversations and those led to just revealing more about our characters. And not in an interview type way but just organically and I can tell she needs this to build real trust.

Thankyou so much , l do believe that prayer is the way forward . God in the middle of all we do in life, then follows all other things , patience, kindness, compassion, understanding of each others needs, keep pressing forward in Gods light. Trust in the lord for he is grasouse and loving, he will never let us down, be hurt, injured , he is the protector of all his children.

I'm grateful that we are in the same time zone and can talk and see each other regularly. I have experienced some of what you spoke about as far as feeling disconnected. We make it a priority to talk to each other first thing in the morning and pray with each other. It works.

I'm a few months into a ldr, 2.5 hours away and it's going OK but we see each other for a short while say every few weeks so far. Not ideal. We do text every day and occasionally call in between our meetings. We've met a total of 4 times only for around 1-2 days each. I like her enough to keep this going but do worry.

How to survive in a long-distance relationship: 1) communicate every single day 2) communicate first thing in morning and last thing at night 3) make each other a priority 4) communicate expectations 5) make fun date nights - be creative virtually 6) be exclusive, be committed 7) read a book together, then discuss it 8) make plans to see each other as often as you can 9) involve your family & friends for support system 10) make them your wallpaper or screensaver on phone to see their face every day 11) pray for each other often 12) pray with each other

@rik46736 ай бұрын
@Collen-Pearce Hi , mind asking you these questions ? Have you ever met ? Do you face time or chat regularly? Do you both share the same or similar beliefs, values, etc Is either one of you ever afraid of conflict? Who is willing to make the effort to cross the continent to meet ? Are you willing to be physically intimate? If not , is he willing to wait until you are ready ? Does either one of you have trust issues ? If so , please do address them . And gal, if your gut instinct ever tells you something is not right , step back or talk it out . Never be afraid to speak your mind but do remember to be respectful. It goes both ways . Wishing you the best!

Please I wonder if anyone can help me. But please don't bash me. This is long so bare with me if you can. I've been in a long distance relationship with an indian man. He lives in Ghaziabad india and i live in Lancashire UK . We are both in our mid to late 40s . His mother and friends know about me so that isn't the issue. We have been together 3 years and he mentioned to me other than female blood relatives. Then females and males can't be alone as neighbours will talk and point fingers. Unless there were 2 females together, so they can protect each other . If anything happened. Anyway I thought this was good. And so I understood if I were there in India we wouldn't be alone together. Which I was fine about. Anyway .... I knew he was looking after aunties house while she was away. And he mentioned to me the maid had asked him if he wanted her to make him some tea. Which brought up the conversation about being alone. He then said he wasn't alone but had previously said it was just him and her. Then he said she had left the house when he was there. But came back to offer him tea. But he then added that it was only of an evening she offered him So this confused me. But I was asking if I couldn't be alone with my boyfriend, why could a maid. He got mad at me, shouting down at me. Saying I'm sick in the head to even suggest that. And that he isn't F#cking her. I said I wasn't even thinking that. Then he was saying I'm controlling and toxic, and I'm the reason men keep secrets. This hurt me badly. We have been talking about marriage before in the past and living together . But he ended it yesterday. I'm feeling awful. I said he's a narcissist and we both said leave me alone. Bit I thought he would of said let's talk Did I cause this am I to blame for not thinking there's exceptions to non blood related men and women being alone . I even phoned him back yesterday to try and calm him and ask him if he really thinks this of me, and he said he doesn't regret saying it, and yes, he does. Please help. Im feeling numb and can't stop thinking about what happened

@Sakura_gaoo after that I found out he had been messaging other half naked women throughout our relationship. And when I confronted him, he said I should be more like an indian woman and forget then comments and them naked photos. He also said I should work harder to break down his ego and if I cared I would do that. I'm sick of his narcissist ways and so I blocked him. I'm now trying to recover myself from all of his toxic behaviour

@mahek30172 ай бұрын
Hey Pauline! I'm so sorry that this happened to you, I'm from India too.. So I can understand the Hypocrisy and patriarchal mindsets which Indian men have, you mentioned to me that he is from Ghaziabad, which is in U.P, and that place is unfortunately not so good for women, most of the Northern States are highly Patriarchal, Sexist and Discriminate against women quite a lot, there are a lot of crimes against women which happen on a day to day over there... A lot of men in such places view women as Sex Objects.. U.P and Bihar are even worse than rest of the Northern States, except for Himachal, Uttarakhand and Ladakh, all of the Northern States are bad when it comes to Women's safety. Most of the Indian Men want a wife who acts pure and saintly, and yet they'd lust over women who pose themselves as sexually provocative and bold, they have such double standards and complexes, it is diabolical. I'm very sad that you had to go through such an experience.. I hope you're doing much better
