The swiffer hack literally transformed my life! I’ve had a swiffer wet jet someone gave me sitting in my kitchen unused forever! I tried and tried to get the lid off and couldn’t. I almost threw it out until now. Now I get to use the cleaner I want and don’t have to carry around a bottle of spray with me while I mop. Thank you!

When you put on fitted sheets do opposite corners. Bottom right, top left, bottom left then top right. Kathy B.

James Briggs I learned this trick from my mom. To help with the last corner, lift up that corner of the mattress and hold it up on your knee. This “shortens” the mattress just enough. My mom also taught me this pillowcase trick. Pull the case inside out. Put your hands in the corners and grab the corners of the pillow. Flip the pillow and roll down the case.

I have been doing the sheet hack for a while, and the swiffer hacks. FYI, Incase you don’t want to use a microfiber cloth the Brillo Basics Wet Sweeper Cloths Refill fit the swiffer perfectly. They are very good quality. It only comes with 8 but you still save. Another tip I tend to flip my cloth to use the other side as well to get multiple uses out of my cloth before disposing of it. Hope it helps.

Love your tips, we have so much in comment. I also use a big jar in my laundry for my pods, looks super cute! Instead of the swiffer I use my steamer so much easier, no toxins and cheaper. I love my ikea picture shelves, I also use them in my son's room for his books, it not only looks super cute but takes less space.

I have switched from those things that hold dish soap in the handles with a sponge dispenser to the round brush. Much more ergonomic and less messy. The dispensers always leaked. I'm gonna get one of those cutlery brushes. The rubber glove trick for removing pet hair is something I read 20 years ago in a Hints by Heloise book. Works great.

The tag placement depends upon the manufacturer and whether or not you bought irregular sheets at a discount store. If you want to remember which side is which, make a mark either with some permanent marker or sew some thread on. If you always place your fitted sheet in the same direction, then they will wear out faster. Best to rotate it.

I don't have a dishwasher so I just throw a damp sponge in the microwave for a minute or so to kill the bacteria. Smells nice & fresh after and I feel like it gets much hotter than it would in dishwasher. Just a tip in case your dishwasher goes out and you still need to sanitize your brush (as long as there's no metal on it). 😎

I also use dried out wet wipes. Rather than throw the whole tub away just tie them on. They are especially good for cleaning glass and mirrors. (I have a mirrored wall that takes ages if I don't use my swiffer and glass cleaner)

I always see different life hacks all over KZbin or even social media but a lot of them are usually things that I’ve seen a thousand times before, things that aren’t actually very practical, or things that seem so easy on video but aren’t as simple in the end. Have missed you Brittany, I Love my spray mop, that's what we call it here in Australia Lol, so easy to use, and you don't get any water marks on your tiles, that's all I use on my tiled floors No more buckets of water and mop and it dries so fast.
