Yes Benji Singapore is also named the Garden City for our greenery all along the roads. The waterfall thingy is within Jewel which is at Terminal 1. You guys must try Chilli Crab and Pandan cake here!!! There's so much food for you to try!!!

Aww I wish I could have been there when you visited! I love Singapore (not that I’m biased or anything because hubby is from there 😅). A multicultural city country with its close proximity to the equator makes it hot and humid all year round. The cuisine is unique as it blends flavors of Malay, Chinese, and Indian dishes. I hope you had time to visit one of the many hawker centers to try the most authentic foods 🥰

Benji was 100% spot on when he guessed that singapore’s nickname is “garden city”..we are also called “city in a garden” bcs of the efforts to keep nature thriving in a modern urban area. The government set a policy for engineers/architects etc where they need to maintain the greenery while constructing new buildings. Developers have to integrate greenery into their building projects either through rooftop gardens, green walls, or landscaping on the building's facade when constructing high-rise buildings. In simple words, you cut off trees to make buildings. And that itself is affecting mother nature. So you have to replace what you cut off, by growing trees/greenery on your buildings to make up for the oxygen that was lost. If you don’t have greenery on your buildings, then you need to create a green space near your buildings like a park for example. That’s why everywhere you go in singapore, you see plants growing on the buildings and basically there are trees everywhere
