No one expects Depp to be some innocent puppy, we know he's had substance abuse issues (so has she, by the way) but this is about her lying about him abusing her. The evidence so far shows that she was the abuser, not him. It's no wonder he turned to drink and drugs when she was beating him.

I knew that about him a few years ago, and he apparently still does it (or at least he was until recently). This case has also revealed other lovely aspects about him, such as hiring people he enjoyed being around, giving people use of his property rent free, helping artists reach an audience, inviting random people to his gigs with the band... It seems everyone who encounters him has a positive experience and describes a thoughtful, gentle, kind person, Amber Heard is the only one who who claims otherwise.
