When I used the Non Exact Diff Equa solving process, I found Y= 1/12((1/Xcube) + Xcube) for Particular solution.

Every type of differential equation has a method of solving. So non exact might not fit, I haven't checked though

for example 3, i don't understand how integral of tanx becomes sec x. for my working, i rewrite the tan x as sinx/cosx, and i got my answer as 1/cos x instead

That's true, but notice that 1/cos x is sec x. So it's the same thing.
