Sons of liberty has a hidden call that comes in after 15 hours of straight game play. It tells you to go to sleep. It scared the crap out of me the first time it happened. The message was directed to the player and it was so out of character of the game that it freaked me out. This was during the time of no internet so I had no way to look it up and I was contemplating my sanity.

@@dballs52 i was checking out internet and someone said she was a weather girl for a news station in japan, and in that clip she was doing a silly report on summer weather and that was back when he read on playstation magazine, i think it's probably added as a easter egg or maybe for sh¡ts and giggles but it's cool i found something about it.

The cold one isn't really a secret. I seem to recall it being mentioned in the manual or in-game. You can also find literal cold medicine on the Tanker to take.

@@darkel1269 VR missions are also fun to play, they are ranging from sneaking, elimination to weapons, bomb dispose and etc. even though i frustrated through difficult missions from time to time but i've had great fun nonetheless.

I don't get the dog tag counting system. Playing on Hard, I got 88% of Tanker tags and 100% of Plant tags - no special items. If I start a "new game +" with the same difficulty and look at my items menu, Snake is holding 31 dog tags (which is more than the Tanker is supposed to have, even on EE).

You'd have to play every difficulty, getting every tag from everyone holding one to get them all. It's wildly confusing and pretty aggravating but they did it that way for some reason or another

You forgot one, on the tanker as Snake, if you take the pentazemin while on the tanker, it stops the screen bobbing up and down and he makes a codec call to Otacon 😎

otacon will then explain it's actually meant to fight seasickness and by the end of the tanker chapter snake says it works while otacon tells snake it doesn't do that at all and that he just used the placebo effect. when you get pentazemin as raiden and call pliskin, he tells raiden it completely doesn't work on seasickness
