i helped build the anti-ballistic missle silo in Ft Greely. the scale of the under ground concrete tunnels is astounding. the trenches dug 70+ft deep went fot miles.

Thats fine... remember that USA's power and defence relies on it's overseas bases and territories... 91% of which is in NATO or specifically partnered with NATO. USA leaves NATO... it will be kicked out of every continent that holds power except some small island in ASIA. Before you say that's fine... USA's nuclear and air defence goes bye bye just as it makes enemies of everyone on earth... because not being an ally instantly makes you a enemy... and NO... powerful nations will not be USA's ally outside of NATO... as the powerful ones are either in it or lifelong enemy. So... Goodbye nuclear defence. Goodbye nuclear deterrent. (No NATO, no allies to fire for USA or host USA weapons) Goodbye air defence. Goodbye NASA. Goodbye space and world observation. Goodbye the need to fund 91% of USA's military. And no... USA cant observe the world from just inside USA before you stupidly say that. And no, People will not leave NATO to be with USA, not even USA's closets allies. And no USA wanting peace will not put off USA's enemies... but being weaker will encourage them to be more bold.
