For those of us who watched EVO religiously, Grian made it VERY clear that Hermitcraft was not why he left. He was very open and clear about his burnout. I'm just glad Hermitcraft gave him new life. I do miss EVO in a nutshell, though.

i did know about number 3. that was rly nice of lizzie to apologize honestly. i have been wondering out of curiosity if they just didn’t know there was another afterlife series already before the new one was created. i don’t really watch lizzie so didn’t know they addressed this.

Do have to point out for the Stampy and SMP point, he wasn’t interested in joining at the time because he wanted to focus on Lovely World. He never ruled it out entirely. While, he wouldn’t necessarily join Dream SMP, he could easily join something smaller with friends he knows, like Life SMP Not that he would, I’m just saying that when Lovely World ends, the door will be open to do more, as he has plans for after his current “SMP” 🙃 I’m being vague about this because I did have a chat about this with him back when I was a mod lol (and the fact that he said some of this in other streams/discord in the past) I have not heard any statement suggesting otherwise

hey prismarina loved the vid and i have a theory on the geminitay hopping between servers that in my head links them all together my theory is gem from hermitcraft 8&9 are the same as gem from empires 1&2 at the end of hermitcraft season 8 gem takes an amethyst crystal through a nether portal covered in amethyst and i think that season 8 gem went to season 1 of empires and when she says she’ll see her friends on the other side she’s talking about her empires friends. i think when she goes through the portal with the amethyst and the moon crashing she gets her wizard gem powers and ends up in empires with no recollection of hermitcraft and when she uses her fire magic to hatch the dragon she starts to unlock her celestial powers and remembers hermitcraft 8 throughout her life as a wizard she perfects this skill and after years and years she wants to see her hermitcraft friends again so she goes to hermitcraft 9 but she also wants to see empires people so she goes to both and that is how the 2 worlds / smps came together.

0:24 Curious what you mean when you say "decently-sized relevant youtube channel" while you show a picture of Scar's current 1.94M subs. Sure seems like you're implying that you should have over 1M when in fact, the best all-rounder hermit is Iskall who joined HC in season 4 with barely any more subs than you. He had subs in the 40k range. He blew up FAST with less than 400k to start in season 6. Having a large number of subs is definitely not necessary when it comes to hermits accepting new people so your first point is just wrong. What's important is that you are a fit for the hermits' personalities as you must get along with a couple dozen people, you must be trustworthy, and you must have Minecraft SSP/SMP content of significance and length on your channel proving that you are and can be dedicated to over a year long series. Being a friend of a hermit will help too. If they were ever to invite a new person, Skizzleman would be the default choice as he's met and hung out with almost every single hermit in real life and has played with the hermits over the years and has now had multiple SSPs and SMPs under his belt. And he has that magic 45k sub count. Plus, he's not a builder like Pearl and Gem who were the last to be added. He's a fun-maker. He's kind of Grian-like but way funnier.

1 million is likely not what they meant, by big number 40k is fairly big and means you have a viewer count (from joining the SMP you'll likely grow more) but if you have like 1k you may be too unknown for them to consider; how big of a viewer count you need isn't known it just has to be decently sized

There are many hermits without a million subs. I think maybe half of the have a million plus but the rest are between like 150k and 999k. I think scar is one of the people with the most subs

Here’s an SMP secret: Rats SMP ended recently and is an incredible SMP where everyone is little rats (less than 1/3 block tall) and can climb & build tiny structures as well as escape humans attempting to capture them! Vids are still being posted but streams are available as vods

Ok I agree with the script because I'm on a smp and we have no script and the trick is to talk about what you're going to say before stream or before the video because you still want to see if it will fit into the lore. Me and ghosty before my introduction we had to make some stuff like a nest and in the nest I had turtle eggs so I can make the sound for an egg hatching(the server is an orgen smp server called ghosty smp) I was an avian at the time. This was in session 8 of the server now 9 is done and it was short but it's now session 10 and now I'm a Phantom.
