It would have been cool if the different lifepaths gave you a different starting operating system: Corpos could start with a Cyberdeck, Street-Kids could start with Berserk and Nomads could start with Sandevistan.

I'd switch out Streetkid and Nomad personally... Maybe the Martinez Bias is showing, but Sandevistan just feels more like a street-rat sort of OS. Seeing it used to steal on the subway with nobody knowing really sells it.

Time to save your Christmas monies and get yourself some components to build a nice PC. Heck, I'm running Cyberpunk on a rig I built back in early 2018 and it runs perfectly fine. My rig just has a i7-8700K cpu, a 1080TI, plus 32GB RAM; with a 144hz HDR monitor. Ofcourse you won't be able to get that photorealism stuff that some people are posting on YT (which looks incredible btw) but the game itself plays great! So even an older second-hand rig with a 1080TI gpu might be an option for not that much money. I'm betting that these days the PC version of the game wouldn't cost too much either on GOG. :)

A mod that I've been using for a long time now, which I had completely forgotten about (until I was watching you doing stuff in your inventory screen) is Inventory Glitch Effect Removal. No more image break up while you're trying to judge your outfit changes.

One thing i cant stop thinking of is how AI is going to play a role in future games and even for mods. Being able to make completely new dialog using all the characters voices using ai and making new quests. We already see this with text with that one mod where u can talk to characters on ur phone. Now that would revolutionize gaming.

Some big hurdles to overcome in that field, AI isn't cheap computationally to run on a gaming PC or at video game scale without severely affecting how good it actually is.

@@OCinneideI think he’s more saying that AI can be used to essentially steal voice actors voices to make new dialogue. This has already been done in Skyrim and fallout (at least fallout for sure) was pretty controversial and some of the VAs didn’t like it. I personally think it’s a losing battle and that inevitably AI being used to expand content by replicating VAs voices is happening whether they agree with it or not

I said this two years ago when we first started seeing AI be implemented in modding games like Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim. We now have the ability to have AI write dialogue, voice act it, and in the future probably code it. If we ever advance AI far enough we're eventually going to see entire games that are procedurally generated in real time by AI as they are played, making totally unique experiences from nothing.

The FSR 3.1 mod needs to get an update, it doesn't work with 2.2 (at least not on AMD cards). Downloaded it, FSR 3 is still 3.0, the shimmering in foliage still remains. The DLSSFG option does now show up, but doesn't perform any actual frame generation. Other AMD users report the same issue.

Are you downloading them all yourself? If so, try downloading a collection instead, you might not get *all* the mods that you desire, however, you will get something that normally works quite well.

Dawg your mods must be outdated or you never did a fresh install of the game. Uninstall the game then delete all the stuff left in the mod folder. Then reinstall then add mods in and test them out.

@@djstef4549 naw, all mods are up to date for v2.12a. none were updated since the new game patch and i'm staying on v2.12a for a quite a while until most of the mods are updated. i disabled "hardcore 22" and "AMM" and not a crash yet. either way, i've always had issues with both of those mods since they've been released. when you got 700+ mods enabled, you're bound to have some issues

That will never happen. Neither Microsoft or Sony will let scripts work, and that's what's needed for these mods. It's done differently than bethsda mods which plug into the game engine natively.

What is the most efficient way of creating a save of a maxed-out male V who has every upgrade, vehicle and item in the game (including different-colored weapons if possible) but who hasn't progressed past Act 2 yet? Does anyone know of a downloadable save like that? Also, is there a mod or command that lets you open locked doors similar to TW3?

For the locked door part try looking for 'Open Sesame'. For items, the closest I can think of right now is using command console to input everything. For vehicles one is only 2 lines to unlock everything. But for cloths and weapons you might have to copy paste everything. You can also add skill and attribute point through console commands.

... there are 2 smart frames in each apartment not 1. In M10 it's beside the bathroom and in the bed alcove. In the Glenn it's beside the door and at the top of the stairs going to the bed area. In corpo it's in the TV area and next to your wardrobe.

I was so excited to use the new photo mode that was added with 2.2... Only to find out that it's completely busted. Can't free-fly the drone camera, it's just stuck on a single-axis rail, and there are invisible walls in front of every NPC as well as V, despite my having collisions turned off. Super annoying, the one feature I was excited for and it doesn't even work.

Enemy doge fix and deceptious fixes (the enemy ai part) need to be a standalone mod. That thing is hella annoying and i was so looking for something like that, tried 40-50 mods but i couldn't find these 2 during my playthrough. I currently uninstalled the game, but oh boy I'm coming back to this video next year.

Really wondering if this new patch broke all our old mods and I'm too scared to check. I installed some pretty neat mods and was amazed how well they worked, but now I fear that they may not work anymore. Kinda like how Bethesda completely messed up my Fallout 4 thanks to their pointless patch a decade later where my entire mod-list got screwed over. So I really hope it won't be the same with CDPR's game where all my mods now need to be updated before they work again.

For Cyberpunk, most mods will work again once the CET, redscript, archiveXL and all those other mod tools are updated. I have some specific mods that have not been updated since 2020 that still work.

I just picked up the game with the dlc as basically my first game on my first pc. I’m too monkey brain to figure out how to mod so far. I literally need childlike, lego building hand holding to get this done 😂 Any recommendations for KZbin tutorials? I tried before starting the game a month ago, couldn’t get it figured out after a few different tutorials and 2 hours. Said f it and loaded in. Question for the pc peeps, can CDPR pay modders for the mods they created then take those mods and add them to the game as an update? The reason I ask is because of the Witcher 3 next gen update, as a Xbox exclusive player I have no access to mods and thanks to the next gen update they added several mods to the update therefore adding it to my game on Xbox and now I’m curious if they could theoretically do the same for CP77 bc from my pov that sounds easier, the community is already adding mods that add features and things the community wants so just buy those mods and implement them into the game so everyone gets it and everyone is happy, they don’t have to create anything bc it’s already don’t they just probably have to tweak and fix small things to make sure it’s smoothly added or something

CDPR doesn't even have to pay mods. They can just copy paste the code for a PC patch. IDK if that would require tweaking to make the patch work on console or not.

Ughhh...sorry, can't watch this 'cause I don't want these new surprises spoiled. I heartily concur with the Deceptious bugfix mod, however...and send that guy a few bucks via his Kofi link. He is doing awesome work on this game. I put my advanced game on hold while all the old mods were updated...and now I'm sidetracked into my new unmodded game because I love Act 1 and early Act 2 so much. Gotta figure out which one to proceed with.

the update and the mods are all a waste till there is an option to easily add user music to the radio instead of listening to the same tracks repeatedly. some of the update feature actually seem stupid when you consider what could have been. user music? nah, photos in your apartment lol i wish we could have it all though
