Thank you for this post! I love libraries and have visited the US Library of Congress and the Boston Public Library. I would love to visit the one in Prague and Austria someday. Here are some honorable mentions: the New York Public Library and the Rijksmuseum Research Library- I visited those as well.

Why El Ateneo in Buenos Aires, Argentina is not hereeee. Its literally the largest library in latinamerican. Its so beautiful, not to mention that its also a theater!

And here I am happy with the overcrowded library which is not so beautiful but serves the purpose. To get a seat, we need to reach the library at least 30 mins before it's opening time so that we can stay as close as possible to the main door and when the doors open, seats become full in a few seconds.

They are coming to library so that they can get the physical book and if they have doubt they can search online through their phone with library's wifi. Everyone pick different books as per their interest/struggle.

UMMMM..... When you are talking about the National Library of Chile, why are you showing the Rose Main Reading Room of the New York Public Library? That's a photo of Berlin, not Ulm You said paintings, but I want to mention that the whole ceiling and tops of the end walls of the 3rd floor stair hall of the Boston Public Library is a giant mural by John Singer Sargent while the walls of the 2nd floor hall are by Pierre Puvis de Chavannes.
