This is the problem. This is an excellent example of people being misinformed about reptiles. Many of these listed as the most dangerous shouldn't have even made the list in a top 100 video of the same name. And almost every entry was full of bogus information. I don't even know where to begin so I won't. Just disregard everything in this video.

About the black momba section. The scientists that extract the venom in the lab, those dudes literally give a chunk of their life to do so. The venom crystallizes and breaks of into the air in the room, so no matter how careful and safe they are, they get a little bit at a time every day. So next time you run into an antivenom extracter, give him a hug

TONS of great info, but I did feel that the presentation was...confusing? Misleading? It was unclear whether you were referring to the danger posed to humans (like the inland taipan) or to their prey (like the Mata Mata turtle). Both would make compelling lists, but I believe they should be separate. I also shared other’s frustration over Bearded Dragons (native to Australia) being shown in place of the Horned Lizard. Again, though, lots of great information!

So the blind snake is not actually one of the fifteen most deadly reptiles on earth then. Also, it has been recently found, like within the last few years that the Comodo Dragon does indeed have venom. It has small venom glands in between their teeth that releases venom along with the nasty bacteria when it bites it’s prey.
