Missed the release of the Alphafly 3 on the Nike app but during the Miami Marathon week they had an event to try them out at one of the stores and they had some inventory to sell. Got one pair and ran the Miami Marathon 3 days later. Love them as much as I love the Alphafly 1!!

Super excited for the SC Pacer 2 and Asics Metaspeed updates this year, too. If the Cielo X1 (narrower forefoot) had the same fit as the NB SC Elite v4 I'd have bought that instantly when I tried it on.

Can't wait to try the Endorphin Speed 4. Really like the ES3 for my longer runs when I want to pick up the pace a bit. Also really curious about the Superblast 2. I tried the Superblast and they felt amazing but didn't buy them as I found them too expensive for a daily trainer. Would like to know how they can improve such an awesome shoe.

I'M curious as well. I love my Superblast, especially on long easy runs. It is a really good recovery shoe that you can also pick the pace up in. If they added a carbon plate it would be next level.

New superblast 2 will be a bit softer compared to the original. The superblast 1 felt a little stiff fresh out of the box imo.

The shoe I'm most excidet about ist the Brooks Hyperion Max 2. It has a new softer foam and a nylon plate. And it looks soooo good 😮😮 And also the Glycerin 21 is an absolute game changer for long runs ❤❤❤

Love the ceilo x1. Have done a couple of runs in it. Much better than the prime x strung. Very bouncy! Stability is fine for such a bouncy shoe. Fun shoe to run in.

Is Saucony ever going to update the Tempus? It’s a great everyday, versatile training shoe, and received many accolades when introduced but hasn’t seemed to change in the years since. Which maybe means it’s already great but it’s always fun to see new versions ….

I'm most excited about that NB Pacer V2. My NB Elite V4's will be at my house tomorrow, looking forward to a Sunday run in those. That Pacer looks like it's going to be something special though for track and speed workouts. I didn't fall in love with the Pacer V1 like I thought I would but it was still a pretty decent track shoe.

In my experience, once Nike posts a date on their website, it's set. You can get them to send you notifications for drops if you create an account.

Man…. In my opinion, it took MANY years, many visual improvements (actually showing the entire logo compared to hiding half of it all through the 80s and 90s, and maybe a little beyond. They have REALLY come on strong!! Why did I start trying them? Massive spine/back surgery, correcting, realigning and healing, as well as stabilizing my spine from Sacrum (Tailbone) to Cervical (Neck!) with Titanium Rods. Then I snapped those Titanium Rods completely broken/sheared in two at five locations. I will be returning in just weeks (April 27) to have ALL of those Rods pulled and replaced with a doubling on both sides of the Spine with a Carbon Alloy Rod that is multitudes stronger even than Titanium. In the meantime, surgeons and PTs at this Chicago “super-hospital” they provide a shortlist of practically insisted upon shoes that someone like me wears - a new list each year, like you guys. They LOVE the best ASICS though…! Love them! They also like HOKA, OnCloud, and NB. But, ASICS’ models with the substantial GEL/Foam soles/bottoms have their greatest trust. I tried them out, going back some years now, after two decades of being a flag bearer for Nike. You couldn’t separate me from Nike for anything. Until my CHRONIC, DAILY, SEVERE and unrelenting back and neck pain. I have been SOO sold on ASICS that even I can’t believe it. I have now accumulated 7 pair of ASICS Running shoes - and I would prefer to never take off my newest GEL Cumulus. Incredible! They are truly more comfortable to wear than to be barefoot. And so, gentlemen, I am taking this time and making this effort because I enjoy and legitimately RESPECT your reviews. But PLEASE, PLEASE include more (much more) ASICS in your influential reviews. My wife recently had both feet operated on (bones) and her excellent and procedurally-innovative and patent holding Podiatrists clinic does the very same (the list). Most of them buzz around their clinic in several alternating pairs of HOKAS. But there are a couple of docs in there who are heavily partial to ASICS. Sure, at that level, that caliber, it becomes a matter of fit and preference. But a couple of doctors there are ASICS thru and thru! Please join the chorus of Orthopedic, Podiatric, and related specialized Physical Therapists in touting - or at least giving high-level, highly-visible review exposure and consideration to ASICS.
