87 Park is next to Champlain Towers South that collapsed last year. Tearing down the original historic hotel and building 87 Park using methods that cut corners is currently being investigated as a contributing factor to the collapse of CTS. So I’m betting the value of 87 Park will be declining as the verdict of the investigation and several lawsuits come to light.

We lived in Los Angeles in the early 90s, and it was expensive!! 1500 a month! It was worth it at the time because we were across the street from Larrabee Recording Studios, where we both worked, LA is a traffic nightmare, so we saved thousands of hours and gas not to have to commute. When we moved to Texas, the rents for big apartments was about 300 a month!! There was a lot of overbuilding and they couldn't give apts. away. We moved ever 6 months just to try out different cheap places. Then that awful Elon Musk came to town and wants to turn Texas into a miserable hole like California, so prices are skyrocketing every single day. We have a very old house that used to be in a rundown neighborhood, we liked the people around us and the big old house built 100 years ago...now, our house goes up in value constantly, our property taxes are gigantic, all our cool neighbors took advantage, sold out and all the nouveau are pouring in.. it's awful! We now plan to retire to the beach, a beach that is not cool or crowded or famous, any beach where we can get away from millionaires! Millionaires only have interest in deals and money, they never talk about anything else, the most boring people on earth!! ( I've never met anyone with millions that wasn't completely obsessed with how much they have or someone else has, they have everything they want, except an ability or interest in anything but their bank account. I really can't stand it....).
