First of all, Russia's wasn't ridiculous, they went with something called traditional with something new added in. The ladies' song is about family coming back, and also I'm happy Russia went with one of their different ethnic groups rather than the one we know as Russian, the song isn't even in Russian! It was Udmurt and the English part of the song was something these non-English speaking ladies learned. They are awesome! They actually managed to get their language heard!

I'll give my opinions based on the snippets: 15. I think I've heard that melody somewhere else... Good, but I'm afraid someone came up with this idea first 14. Was the outfit necessary? Is there any cultural reference I'm missing out? 13. Alban entries screaming since then... Wow... That hasn't changed in 2021. 12. Rock pop. Why do I feel old listening to it??? It also sounds like this song that says "I wanna be somebody to someone, oh"... That song from TikTok, I don't know the name. 11. Props for singing in Croatian 10. Oh, so those are the twins... 9. It seems like she went out of the shower. 8. They're iconic too! Why are they here??? 7. I don't understand the music video. Not even the song. 6. Why does this seem something produced by Disney? Being her the mom of any Disney main character of series at the time... 5. I like this one!!! Just by this snippet I conclude this might be Georgia's best entry 4. What? The? Heck? Ok, that's ridiculous!!! 2. (Shouldn't it be 3.?) Meh. Oh, wait, now it sounds good. Kind of. Is he rapping? I understood "change, climatic, automatic" 1. So this is the already known Valentina Monetta, who's been representing San Marino too many times? Wow... Sorry but this song makes me cringe.

The only ridiculous song is Montenegro. All the other are just something you are not used to. It's so sad how people want to see something new and original and when countries actually send something like that to ESC they call it bad, boring or ridiculous. Do you really want ESC be all pop-trance songs you are used to?

What the hell is everyone on about, this video is HILARIOUS. These songs are all terrible, the pronunciation of the words is the best part really. While I appreciate Russia's sentiment and everyone else's, I'm sorry is this not first and foremost a singing competition? Don't lyrics and even tuning feature into it? And some of the people don't actually dance with the music..I hate it when people criticize this when actually he perfectly right. These are such ridiculous performances.

I actually liked the Russian, Croatian, Albanian, Latvia entries after watching their videos and listening to them again. Wasn't sure about Latvia, but it grew on me. But I have to say you are right on everything else....but I would've switched Israel, Montenegro and San Marino. Montnegro first, Israel second then San Marino. God awful.

So someone hasn't cottoned onto the fact the eurovision is kinda taken with a pinch of salt in Europe... and half those songs are actually pretty good, just with some ridiculous costumes/videos (which I'm sure no American singer has ever done... cough) and not in English...

You don't mean 'most ridiculous', you mean the 'most individual'. Some of the songs in your list weren't to my taste, but three of them were my absolute favorites from last year - the songs from The Netherlands, Israel and Montenegro. The fact that these songs were very different from the normal stuff made them all the more enjoyable, and Eurovision 100x better because of them.
