Oxhorn, these videos are absolutely great, I love using this to find better mods for Fallout 4. Most "best mod list" mods add ridiculous joke mods. I'm a little tired of seeing "Lol! This mod adds thomas the tank engine to replace dragons. Lmao! Look at this mod that makes it so you can summon godzilla." It's refreshing to see mods that actually fit the theme of the game. :) I just have a question for you; have you ever considered making a video on the best immersive mods? Namely gutsy mods that slightly break the gameplay of the game like mods that give shops 'realistic' stock (IE instead of a handful of stimpacks, a blood pack, maybe a surgical tool or two, it had 20 stim packs, 20 blood packs, enough surgical and lab equipment for an entire clinic, etc).

I totally agree Star Foth, I love Oxhorn's mod reviews. I'm so tired of seeing "titty" mod reviews. I've learned most of what I know about Fallout 4 from watching Oxhorn's videos. It's kind of a "yes, that's cool!" moment when you see something you've missed on Nexus. I built a lot of stuff for Skyrim, most I never published, but I may build a few more quests, as the FO4 game lacks depth. I'm off to install some of these and see my settlers look great (I play in 1st person, so changing me would be a waste). :)

You know what I wish Fallout 4 had done differently? I wish you had to go on a quest chain to find pieces and assemble your first power armor suit. It would have made it so much more rewarding. Off topic I know but after the Power Armor mod I started thinking about it again.

that would've been awesome in vanilla, however, they now have a mod out called some assembly required which requires you to really search for the pieces; you'll never find a full suit already pieced together just sitting around, not even the one in the museum of freedom.

Personally I like Power Armor paint mods that make it look new, because logically it IS new. Think about it. When you have your PA in the workstation and you're changing the paint job, you're repainting it. This is why new paint jobs require magazines or learning them from someone else like the Atom Cats or the BoS chief engineer. It makes no sense to me that "Oh, I just found a cool new paint job in this magazine I found. Let's put it on my armor! Oh look, it now looks like someone else applied this new paint job 150 years ago." This especially applies to T-60 armor acquired from the BoS. Danse tells you that they got ahold of a factory and can mass produce new T-60 suits. That's why they can hand them out like candy on Halloween. So if these suits are newly manufactured and newly painted, why do they look excavated from a landfill?

Kains Childe I agree with you up to a certain point. Yes the paint should look fresh but you also have to think if there was scratch's on the power amour before you apply the new paint there will still be divits and scratch's under the new paint. They won't be as noticeable but they would still be there. And you also have to think about being by the Water/Ocean and Radiation Storms when you consider rust and dirt on your power armour. I think some Mod authors have it down perfectly when other's either have it too clean or too dirty.

I don't know if it's been fixed but the high res textures mod (HD rework)) that improves a whole range of things was the cause of crashing for me. If you get the kind of crash to desktop that occurs without warning when you are wondering around the Wasteland and happens in specific locations then try disabling this mod.

Anonymouslydone I wouldn't recommend a laptop for gaming unless you're really moving around a lot. If you'd rather not build a desktop, there are prebuilt options but they will usually be a little more expensive. I'd go to pcpartpicker.com, people have plenty of builds and you can make your own to fit your budget.

More specifically, rethinking their roles as the default good guys of the commonwealth, because they seem to be more of a private militia army that reinforces settlers (specifically the ones who own their settlements) as a landed elite with rights and protection over migrants. If we were to theorize on what a Commonwealth Provisional Government would look like based on Minutemen values, what would it look like? Interested to hear your thoughts.
