May I suggest trying Syrian Shawarma restaurant in Islamabad F-10 markaz. It’s the most authentic Arabic shawarma outside of middleeast, started out by a Syrian refugee as a hawker stall now turned into a full fledged restaurant. Kitty corner from it is a really nice icecream shop called Sweet crème blizzard. Kids will enjoy that for sure as my girls went gaga over it. Regards, from Karachi..

Yo! Islamabad is definitely the hardest place to do this challenge, You guys nailed it! Btw Islamabad is famous for Western style food a little bit of Pakistani style taste but in Western form a must do in Islamabad. i wonder if your kids will love the chocolate paratha since they loved cheese one. and Thank you for showing the world the hidden side of this country of course will keep watching Good Luck and Yeah Make sure to try Chapli Kebab and if possible try visiting Taru Jabba probably one day trip to get the best Bone Marrow Chapli Kebab also most favorite petties recommended by Mark Weins.

A few miles up in the Margalla hills on Pir Sohawa Road in Islamabad (after Monal restaurant) is Dinosaur world called Dino Valley. It just opened up. If kids are into prehistoric animals, they’ll love it. Just don’t wear shorts as the management there is a bit conservative, other than that it’s a really cool place to visit.

Whenever you get some street drink like lime soda or sugar can juice ask for no black salt. Thats the flavour that most foreigners don’t like. Normal salt is fine but black salt has that sulphuric taste.
