Also, I would like to add Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers, and John Laurens. Lin Manuel Miranda has confirmed this. Hamilton is known for writing like he's running out of time, so there are plenty of letters and documents proving this. I personally find this amazing because I am part of the LGBTQ+ and have recently become a huge fan of the musical Hamilton that has now led me to buying Ron Chernow's biography of Hamilton, the one that inspired Lin to spend 7 years writing the musical. It's also great that Lin is such a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and now with sudden but long needed uprise in the number of protests against police brutality with Lin is there doing his part. I realize this kind of turned into a ramble, but I submit leading advocate for the adoption of the Constitution and Father of Our Financial System along with a straight up Founding father, Alexander Hamilton. I also sumbit John Laurens. I realize my candidates are from a much earlier time than what you listed but I felt the need XD sorry

Loved this list, John Amaechi (often overlooked because he was British) also played in the NBA and played regular season games with Cleveland Cavs, Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz. This list is funny, most people outside the USA won’t know who many of these people are, so they certainly aren’t going to know if they are LGBTQI+ or not. Of those who are well known outside the USA, I would imagine most people do know they are LGBTQI+, none of them have kept it a secret! Jodie Foster, for example, has been out since she was at university, she just keeps her private life private.

@@eliserss9179 Well, there are multiple possibilities for that: 1. I heard girls sometimes like to use the word "girlfriend" when talking about a girl who happens to also be her friend. 2. You can be heteroromantic and homosexual or homoromantic and heterosexual. This way, straight women can have girlfriends. 3. Asexual people can date and have sex so straight women can have girlfriends, too. Relationships do not dictate your sexuality. Exceptions can happen. That reminds me of the webcomic "Rain", where a gay boy falls in love with a lesbian girl and the relationship actually works out for some time!

It is not really necessary to put such a specific label on someone? That is exactly my point! Actually bisexual is liking two or more genders, and pansexual is liking all genders or being "gender blind". They have different definitions.

It used to be the full seven colours but we combined two of the colours. So now it's just red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and indigo. The flag now also has black and brown to signify the people of colour in the community, light pink and light blue (which mean something else but I can't remember) and white, but I can't remember what white is either. I don't know if 6 is the worst number in religion, and I doubt it, but hey, according to most religious people (particularly Christians), we're all going to Hell anyway so might as well get on Satan's good side before that.
