With the Micha as main "villain" the writing flopped hard. Meeting the character for first time on the snowy mountain INSTANTLY makes you know it's that guy's fault. Later on he even shoots half a town just because....and then later on all these realistic characters are like "whO iS thE trAitOr huR HuR". It very much dumbs down all those amazing characters. If you take the story away then yeah...game is a 10/10.

Instead of Titanfall 2 I would have said Doom Eternal. I love TF2, but I think Doom Eternal is the best FPS campaign in years: great enemy and gun variety, good level design, really good bosses, plus soundtrack and atmosphere, plus it runs great on every platform. I think it’s the best FPS ever, but I respect your opinion and different taste

Titanfall 2 best shooter of all times. The movement, the titans, the story. I do not get it how it is possible that this game was forgotten. It is fast paced, fun, with great graphics, has titans which is cool, great guns, super fun gameplay, walking on walls, dubble jumps. Great arcade style shooter. All people should play this game who like fps ganre.

tbh i enjoyed Callisto Protocol way more than the remake, even on 3rd playthrough i never resorted to check my phone on Callisto, meanwhile i feel lifeless at times playing tlou remake. i guess i have no nostalgia biases, also the left behind dlc bored me to death also aint no way Uncharted 4, Spider-man, and Ragnarok 10/10 games

Fallout 4 especially modded is a superb RPG & exploration game, set in apocalyptic environment. Easily far more immersive & gargantuan than 90% of games here. As is AC Origins & Odyssey. And Mass Effect Trilogy. Have all 4 permanently installed on my PS5 hard drive & dive into them at will. Early retirement at 60 so most content, country cottage Kent UK, with the Scoobs & a Savinelli & Rum 🥃 & Maple 🍁 tobaccy. If NFS franchise remade MW2005, as the fan base has been requesting for 19 past years, would easily be best racer game ever. First console game I ever played, sunk hours into replays with differing cars. Played Nier on this list, boring after a few hours, can’t see protagonist face features, combat highly repetitive. Bioshock also boring. The current gen TR games should be on this list too, excellent graphics gameplay & Lara Croft character design. Great for exploration also.

Bioshock is not an immersive sim! Quite the opposite-you’re limited in your ability to explore and approach tasks in significantly different ways from how they were designed. The game doesn’t offer a wide range of options to complete objectives.

Most of these games are not 10/10's. You could make an argument for TLOU, Elden Ring, Uncharted 4 and BOTW being 10's, but that's about it. Maybe God of War Ragnarok as well, but I still contend that 2018 was better game overall in many regards.

Hmm, really wouldn't agree with calling these 10/10 games AC Black Flag. Story-wise it's good but gameplay wise it's just so outdated and it shows. 8/10 Don't agree with Dishonored (8/10), Dishonored 2 (9.5/10) should be there instead, it's so much more engaging in terms of gameplay (especially if you play as Emily) Elden Ring (8/10 at most)? Hell no. It's still a good game because FromSoft but the open world detracts so much from the experience that a Souls game is supposed to give. Bloodborne and Sekiro, and even Dark Souls III is better. Dying Light, another hell no. It's a slightly better version of Dead Island and that's about it, in the end it's still a slog to get through (6.5/10) Spider-Man is a good game but 10/10? Closer to an 8/10 I wouldn't put Bioshock there either, if there's one game in the Bioshock franchise you'd have to choose I'd choose Infinite instead. Imo a 10/10 game doesn't exist (even if some games get close, like Uncharted 4) but even if we aren't as strict with what a 10/10 perfect game would be, a lot of the games chosen on this list (while still decent to good games) aren't close to 10/10 material. A 10/10 game would have to have gameplay that stands the test of time and still is good years later. Take for example something as simple as Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Even nowadays that gameplay loop is absolutely amazing. It just works, there's no jank under normal gameplay circumstances, it's smooth. For a game such as Bioshock 1, we've had so many shooters in the past 30 years that have done shooting mechanics just so much better that it doesn't hold up. And story-wise it's good, don't get me wrong, but a story alone doesn't make a game a 10/10. (For example: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, supposedly an excellent story, but absolutely abhorrent gameplay making it just not worth playing through, and rather watching it on KZbin or on Twitch)

For me 10/10 games are something like Paradroid, Sam & Max Hit the Road, Metal Gear Solid.... I don't think any shooter is 10/10.
