Mass Effect has by far one of the best stories ever in a video game. I remember wenn pt. 1 was released i realy enjoyed playing it until i came to certain point in the story. From this point on, i couldn´t stop playing. I remember it beeing 3AM saturday morning and i actually wanted to go to bed but had to play through the game until 8 AM. This was one of the best moments in my pc player carreer wich started in 1989. The Mass Effect Trilogy is an absolute masterpiece, although the side missions of pt 1 are meh. Just make sure to play pt. 1-3 one after another!

The last of us has to be by far the best game you'll ever play. I never had a harder post game depression like I had with last of us. It's something I cannot describe with words please go play that game and thank me later!!!

Disco Elysium is amazing. I hate these types of games - all dialogue barely any action. Yet... I loved Disco Elysium. So full of life, charm and character. 10/10.

Dying Light 1, specifically The Following DLC multiplayer with Night Hunter invasions enabled. I've been a gamer since 1982, owned every console and this is hands down my favorite gaming experience of all time.

The choices really pay off when you get to Mass Effect 2. The second part is definitely one of the best games of all time. Invest time into all the characters stories and side missions, it pays off in the most epic finale.

Agreed! God of War 2018 also, a much tighter experience than the sequel but both are mountains above FF7 REMAKE. Ragnarok is brilliant and captivating, incredible writing, FF7 remake is boring. That game took everything we loved about the original, threw it in the bin and shat up kingdom hearts style goofy narratives and absolutely DID NOT expand or deepen the story, rather it was a shallower story experience with whole tanks filled with boring bland filler. Meeting wedges mum and having pizza at his house was not depth. Exploring environmental terrorism would have been depth. But who really wants to explore the actual story of ff7? . Graphics good tho, combat fun enough , overall game was incredibly disappointing.

I don't think people truly understand how good Red Dead is I don't even like cowboy games but the gameplay graphics realism and immersive world makes it hard for you to even touch another open world game no matter what it is

Some 16 years old will tell the rest of the world what is masterpiece? Based on what based on another people who told you that during last 10 years? And now you grow up and you see something so you just repeat it and hope that other people will look at it and click on it? Sorry it’s just pointless rant of gamer who was playing doom on two grey, black and white Toshiba laptops connected by serial cable. Detroit Become Human is visually nice, yes, but master piece? It is a piece of garbage which can be played by blind dog. It is mouse clicking simulator without any challenge whatsoever. So my recommendation is make a real list of games which are actually masterpiece and not just some random crap to confuse people. Okay, this is enough for this month.

Eh the Witcher 3 has boring combat and mostly bland open world segments with invisible barriers, really knocking the game down. Cyberpunk after the 2.0 update is one of the top 3 best games ever now; just phenomenal. The rest of your list is great though

Actually yes. It also has a difficulty setting option to make it harder (or easier). It even liked it so much that I actually got a platinum trophy for it because it was just so fun to play and no huge hassle. I am not a trophy hunter and only have two platinums.
