Hey! What a great vid! Could u please explane me the difference between "sickness" and "illness"?
@engvidBenjamin

Sickness is less serious and less formal.

'Sickness' often means vomiting , whereas 'illness' can be any illness , not specifically vomiting and is generally more serious and long term. However, people often use 'sickness' in the same way as 'illness', and 'sickness' has less gravity/ seriousness attached to it than 'illness' when used in that way, I'd say , as Benjamin said.

Benjamin, could you please explain that quote that you said about King and horses and men. It seemed a song or a poem. Something like that. You said after phrasal verb “to patch someone up”. Tks❗️

People often make comments like that. Unless you're an actor, I don't think there's any need to learn an accent - the goal is simply to communicate clearly.
