As beautiful as these places are, there are so many more places to visit and experience. We hiked to the Boiling Lake on the island of the Commonwealth of Dominica in 2022. On the way there, we passed through what they call the "valley of desolation". It was so beautiful hiking through the lush greenery. Amazing.

About 25 years ago a man came into my office with a black shirt with well over a hundred miniature country flags haphazardly ironed onto it. I asked him about the flags and he said, "Oh these are from every country that I've visited." When I pointed out that almost every flag in the world seemed to be on his shirt, he replied, "I have been everywhere on the planet!" The haymaker. That’s the name I assigned to the Batu Caves stairs. It wore me out! I made it to the top and realized I wasn’t the only person down for the count 🤣🤣. Once reaching the top, the first thing the majority of the visitors(including myself lol) did was sit down wherever there was room lol. The funny thing is there’s a shop about 15 feet from the entrance selling refreshments but the majority of us were too exhausted to do anything but sit and rest lol. After about 20 minutes, two bottled waters, and some kind of Powerade, I was ready to explore. Oh, and watch out for the monkeys. Those little savages are sneaky and they have quick hands. Take your eyes off your food and the next thing you know they’re eating it lol.
