Well, that was a lot of bull shit about The Netherlands. I happen to live there. It is NOT a peaceful place (maybe 50 years ago it was), New York is NOT three times The Netherlands (nor the state, nor the city). And we certainly DON'T have nice weather all year around.

For many Americans moving to Puerto Rico is the best option. Because US Government taxing citizens even if they live, work and make all their income outside of the US. Can get taxed double if the country that working in taxes also. Puerto Rico is the only option I know of to get around this outside of shell corps, etc. Of course there is real estate depreciation/expenses to offset income like how Trump does. If anyone has better options to retain US citizenship and get around taxes would like to hear them.

NL is my favority place on this planert and it used to be the best place for tax planning purposes. But over the last 6 years the NL Government has done its best to prevent foreigners from using the tax advantages. The substance requirements are costly and complicated. I would take NL from this list of tax havens (though the DTTs are still good).

I once saw this image that said that if someone lived for 80 years & earned an average of $5,000.00 every day of their life, they still wouldn't be a billionaire, but rather have about $150,000,000.00. At the bottom of the image was a line that said that no one works to become a billionaire. So yeah, we should be taxing multi-millionaire & billionaire individuals & corporations in this country more then we currently are! And if you want to argue that taxes shouldn't be raised on the wealthy and corporations, how can you defend them when they send their U.S. dollars to other countries so they can't be taxed & help fund domestic programs to help poor people here in the U.S.?
