Locking a child in a room is fine as long as its night because if they are trying to go to sleep then why does it matter but I wouldnt lock the door unless they try to get out for some reason.

The masks for visitors once the kids are past toddler age and the locking door bedtime method struck me as a little odd, but all these parents clearly care deeply about their kids. As a single mom. I appreciate the rules that these parents have set up. Strict rules are a great sense of discipline. It also teaches children a sense of responsibility. Growing up my family had all these same rules except one. Weather it be a weekday or the weekend. We had to go to bed at 8:30 on the dot. Even through high school and college while living at home.
