The hardest thing about having a period is not being able to laugh. I take a deep breath to laugh, which is forced spurts of air. This forcing pushes muscles down; if I should laugh, i am suddenly uncomfortable. And my laughter stops. That is the hardest thing about having my period. I can not plan laughter. But it can be suddenly stopped by uncomfortable-ness.
