Yes, your choices are wise. For me, I read Bible scripture out loud to my son to hear and he will repeat each part out loud following me. We have done this every night for 13 years. It has taught him to carefully listen to the word of God, to be familiar with it, and to easily speak it as if it were natural language to him, and of course, to memorize it. He is now almost 16 years old and when he is ready for bed, he still always calls me to do reading.

I like these plans. I also don't work on Sabbath but mine is Saturday. I try to not complain or even compare. Social media is hard on us, so I'm making a plan to make my home the way I want it instead of waiting for my dream home. And better garden and chickens. Right in the city 😅

Hi there, well, I'm not a woman, nor am I a father, but as a man I want to really thank you very much for sharing this video and for talking about how you spend Sundays and what thoughts you have regarding not working too hard on Sundays and also thanks for sharing your thoughts on protecting children from bad influence though TV or screens in general. Also, I find it very good of you that you don't have a TV that you don't let a TV act as a babysitter. Also, that you don't entertain your kids all the time yourself but let them find out how to entertain themselves, I find that very good. Again, thank you so much for sharing this video! May God bless you very much and may you have a very great rest of the day today, Simon

I think the suggestions that you make in this video are very helpful. #1. We should seek God's wisdom and instruction in all that we do. I also firmly agree that we should not try to live up to other people's standards, but aim to please God and tune in to Him so that our focus is where it needs to be. Sometimes we miss things in our own homes/family because we are not tuned in to what God is telling us. I definitely like the comment you made about letting them be creative. I love to cook and sew and I was trying to teach it to my children. I found myself stifling their creativity, but when I started letting them do things on their own, their creativity blossomed. (Obviously with cooking I still had to be a bit more involved for safety sake, but God showed me how to back off and let them explore. It is a blessing to see what He has put in them and is drawing out to His glory. Thank you for this gentle reminder to let Go and let God. 😊

We can't always see the full picture. Being home with my kids means so much more to me than the perfect home. Love all the others as well. Not to Atomic Habits, or any other book...and not even to the bible, but to god...directly. Sometimes he will send you to someone, or to a book...in order to find the answer...and sometimes he will just tell you, directly...
