Hey there, I have Nvidia GPU drivers, but ubuntu set their default display server to Wayland and for nvidia drivers to work out you should be on X11. I didn't get smooth experience in X11, if i enable wayland then my nvidia drivers will stop working. How to get smooth experience as wayland in Xorg or you may say X11 ?

Nobody uses hibernate anymore unless you plan to save your session from ram to disk and store your computer for weeks on end. - but why Use SLEEP or SUSPEND instead of hibernate. Open Settings > Power

omg. ubuntu is really starting to look so much nicer by default and easier to configure without having to go overboard with custom theme hacks. i really like the dark mode and the ability to configure the dock.

Due to all the ill practises of microsoft, demanding money for win10 updates like 100 dollar per year over a span of 3 years and the windows 11 annoying and unbelievable push to get people on that version I have decided to give Linux finally a try, I look very good and clean, people can finally have peace of mind in a nice and calm enviroment without getting the feeling that microsoft is looking over your shoulder all day every day 23-7/365 per year. See people don't want stupid programs like edge and co-pilot. I predict that many people will turn to Linux to have someting they actually want and like. This OS looks pleasingly good.

Don't be suprised. When you have eg few file managers open, clicking on dock show them all and you can choose one. Enabling minimize on dock click (9:00) will not trigger that. I am surprised you recommend it.

linux has no desktop enviroment that i rilly like gnome is closest with extensions xfce4 is good but the menu sucks and how making bigger the taskbar increses icon sizes and wisker menu and old menus sucks but in my opinioun gnome +kde would make best desktop enviroment i dont like kde large customisability and i want limited cutomizability and proper menu and taskbar at bottom and some apps that i think is good like : gnome settings and gnome terminal plus gdm3 and i would rilly love to if the desktop would run gtk 5 or 4 and allways would update to latest gtk anad i would love if there would be auto driver install something you could configure in special program while seting up the desktop enviroment and flakpack preinstalled and store calcultor and system settings and all thelemety removed and thats it if any one has sugestion sugest me anything (and if the video owner is reading this then pin this comment so others can see this)

you say to run it '5:20'' run this command /usr/local/bin/firefox but before that you put in another command to the terminal and because of your screen face we cannot see that command the same as in your web page what is that command you put in?

Hi, The laptop touchpad 3 finger gesture to switch virtual desktop and Activities Overlay is not working in Ubuntu 22.04. when i installed, it was working for couple of days, after that it stopped working. Please assist what went wrong. 2 fingers scrolling on browser pages is working fine though.

After installing 22.04 it worked well but after some period of black screen issue occured my suggestion for users wait for about 2 or 3 months then install because during that period many errors and bugs will be fixed and moreover i had issue with sharing my screen if i share entire screen in discord or google meet in any video sharing services it is showing black background with white cursor

The only tweaks i do are putting the window buttons to the left (all interaction with windows happen on the left side, why are they on the right at the default?) and remove tray icons (yes, i am one of those people. they serve no purpose, because i put windows of messengers etc. in their on workspace and can switch to them via keyboard which is not possible with tray icons, that have to be clicked with a pointing device...)

19:19 I have upgraded from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04. It worked pretty well, but when I log in (with wayland or xorg) my background picture is not taking the full screen like yours and on the top I have a search bar. I need to click on the reduced background pic so the background pic take the whole screen. it wasn't like that on ubuntu 20.04. what do I have to disable so I don't have that reduced background with that search bar at the top when I have logged in?

I wonder if there is a way to get libfuse2 installed so that AppImages can be run. It seems like it's worked for some people, while for others it's uninstalled libfuse3 and other critical packages. If it can be done reliably and safely, then it would be a good addition to this list.
