I just learned about the 6 month rule after checking the requirements, I got worried because I am supposed to be going to America in August(and back home at the end of august) and my passport expires in September. I was just searching and apparently as a British citizen traveling under the visa waiver program…. It doesn’t apply to me because US and UK are buddies. 💀 Made me so anxious for a second, glad I know for the future, and glad I watched the video.

Why am I crying?? Thank you for this video. I’m overwhelmed because my husband and I are suppose to be going to Germany in March and I’m so nervous that I’m crying. I’ve never been on a plane or to an airport! Im afraid of leaving my home and I’m afraid I won’t do something right. 😢 We have one credit card and I don’t know if we should get another one or not. I watched a different video that said I could go to my bank and get cash from them to take to Germany… not sure if that’s true. I wish I could hire you and your wife to come over to our house and walk us through all this. 🥺😔 I’m so scared and I hope this feeling goes away soon! I’m going to look for the German requirements for plug in adapters. Thank you for this video. I’ll be watching more today!

I dont know what its like for Americans but for Australians. 1. International sim cards and international eSimcards are readily available online and can span countries e.g. a few countries in Europe on one sim. 2. Get a travel money card through your bank and lock in the exchange rate (you load it in the app from your phone instantly) similar to a preloaded mastercard/giftcard. 3. Our closest countries usually dont need an international drivers license- an Australian open one is fine e.g. if you drive in NZ on your holiday.

For just internet access in europe, is there a sim card that can be used in most of the continent? More specifically in the eastern part? Can one be purchased to be used in a tablet?

It will be my first time traveling. Where should I check all the requirements I need like entry forms, etc? Should I only check the country's embassy website? Or the airline can help me with that?

Quick question… Do you recommend getting euros before you head to europe, or do you think it’s fine just getting cash when you get there?
@allimyers2433 Жыл бұрын
I am from the US and my uncles from Germany and I ask him this question before I go. And he said ( at least in Germany) is better to wait and go to a local bank in the city you’re going to because those will have better exchange rates.

I went to my bank and purchased Euros before my trip to France. You still have to pay extra to purchase Euros.

Only travelled to other countries twice in 12 years~only fleeting holidays- no indepth explorations. Looking forward to really travelling!... for me I find it near impossible to not perceive travel in my future. Spent most of my life travelling, working, hopefully doing good. I hope co-vid hasn't impacted this experience too much! Keep posting up to date info! Thanks

Any suggestions on a travel insurance company? Thank you
@oscatMeow Жыл бұрын
@@ironwolph sorry for old comment but the main benefits for the plan I got for insurance is if I lose my phone I can claim on that, or if flights are cancelled or delayed I will get a refund. when you pay 2,200 on tickets its nice to know that if something happens I'm not going to be out 2 grand because my passport was taken or the airline decided they didn't want to give me my flight
@tatianabritton62586 ай бұрын
@@smilingsam50a good percentage of our credit cards come with travel delay/interruption insurance BUT be sure to research and call customer support to see if that is the case as well as ensure all travel purchases are made on that specific card (otherwise your claim may be denied). As for a specific company, i heard Allianz is the best.

Women beware: before traveling know this law that could trap you abroad. This happens all the time yet I've never met a mother who knew what the Hague law was before it destroyed her life. We are told if our partner is abusive then leave him. Nobody thinks that means you will lose custody of your children who will be given to your abuser possibly without even an assessment of the best interest of the children. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqbJaqpvmt2ahM0feature=shared
