Can't agree with the point on Beaches. There are some beaches that are public and free to visit but don't expect beautiful beaches such as in Maldives, Sri Lanka or Similar. I made so many good friends in Bahrain and spent one of the most memorable times of my life. The country's culture is very deep and so rich. I highly recommend everyone to visit it and spend the time to make good friends there. You will be deeply moved and touched by the kindness and hospitality of Bahrainis. I have so many questions. Can one get citizenship if they want to be a resident? Are there required dress codes for women when outside? What are the most popular or cheapest transportation options? How many hours would a car ride take to go from Juffair to Manama? Are black people welcomed there like everyone else? Or is it a racist country?

I have just spent a week in Bahrain. This video is accurate. It reminds me of a cross between Singapore and Monaco with a progressive government. It still has fresh water springs so in places there are small densely green jungle areas. It could easily have been the Garden of Eden. I visited Qal'at Al-Bahrain also known as Bahrain Fort. Over 4,500 years of settlement and the capital of the Dilmun civilisation. The people are very pleasant. Its a calm, safe and peaceful place.

I lived in Bahrain in 2009. I was living at the SAS Radison Diplomat Hotel and part of a film crew from Denmark. We made 120+ films for the Bahrain National Charter Monument. Therefore, I was visiting a lot of different places in Bahrain (Mosques, Quran schools, stadiums, medina, luxury hotels, beaches with ladies in bikinis:D, shopping malls, sharia courts, embassy, hospitals, Aluminium Bahrain, a lot of private peoples homes, etc.) Based on my experience I think Bahrain is very progressive and liberal thinking. The crime rate is low, and you will be treated very nice by the locals. The level of culture is high, and you can easily visit great art museums and go to beautiful concerts. The country also has some epic history to it. Pearl diving has always been a big thing and then there is the epic tale of Gilgamesh.(This story needs to be turned into an HBO-series. If you are a party animal, you can easily find a great discotheque for all-night-long-dancing or stores to buy alcohol.

I lived in Bahrain for 10years..I am Muslim with a western education, grew up in a western country... The problem in Bahrain was that I was not Blonde! It is one of the most racist countries I've lived in. Passports count, nationalities count, in favouring your salary, your job title and your entitlements. Bahraini DO NOT adhere to their LABOUR LAWS... Sorry to say this. A lot if what they practice could be called more of a rogue Nation! Their labour cases need to be reviewed by an international body as well their treatment of labourers and employees. Laws are in place... They just go against Them! And somehow get away with it. Disgusting. A insurance case from a motor vehicle accident can take up to four to five years before you get your entitlement and the same applies to labour cases... If you lucky youll get your Due! Most of it is payed in court fees and attorney fees... It's Shameful! Then to call themselves a Islamic country mentioning Sharia law in their Anthem! Nice video for tourism and Marketing! The very comments on Indians here shows the racism... And I'm not Indian!!

Amirhossein Razizadeh 1. Historically the Arabs fished in the gulf, sailed its sea, and caught its pearls. 2. In geography, the Arab peninsula and the gulf are on the Arabian tectonic plate. 3. 6 powerful Arab nations dominate the region and the gulf, and only one country has claims to it. So yea, it’s Arabian gulf. My grandfather, and his father before, and his father before, sailed these waters for many generations, we are a proud Arab family from the Al Hosani tribe of al ain, and many other Arab families dominated these waters, Persia/Iran has absolutely no claim whatsoever. The gulf is for the Arabs, and will always be the Arabian gulf.

I'm from Bahrain . Which about the beaches is not true. There are a lot of beaches that are not owned and no one dare to touch it, but most tourists do not go to these. because there are not equipped for tourists (it is ordinary beaches sand and sea if you are a tourist you will not go thair because there is nothing special in it). In fact, these beaches are intended by Bahrainis at any time. And often meet with families and friends either for barbecue or swimming and fishing (only for your information when you are in these beaches and not tourist beaches, you will be with Bahrainis and we hate that women wear scandalous clothes and we do not prevent you from wearing it, but we ask you to respect us and not wear it)
