I've had 5 Porsches. My favorite is the 1976 911SC. The 2008 Cayman was by far the cutest - with the "big hips" on the rear.

My first Porsche was a black on black Porsche 914 with gold alloy rims found on both Porsche and VW! it was actually my parents but I took over when I got my license and then my brother took over years later! Now I have a 2013 special edition Porsche Panamera Turbo executive edition metallic black and customized gunmetal grey rims specially made for it! I've had since 2015 Don't drive it much but when I do it is a fun drive! 👍

I started renting & driving exotic cars @ tracks several yrs back. While Ferrari’’s & Lamborghini’s etc are great cars - they weren’t attainable or daily driver friendly. Cool video, but Porsche makes sports cars that in many cases are luxurious but not luxury cars such as the 2018 911 GT3 RS, 2011 911 GT3 RS 4.0, and the list could go on and on. Porsche themselves is an “enthusiast car brand”. Also one doesn’t need to be making much money to afford a Porsche. Poached (even new ones) can be had for under &70,000, and used ones can dip below $10,000 before going up in value. Porsche’s also make great long term investments as well. While a Porsche latter in it’s life can be expensive to maintain, they are very reliable and if one is any good the car’s owner can do some repairs himself.

Ok some additions need to be made: 1. Volkswagen owns the Porsche AG (which is the company that manufactures cars). However Volkswagen is owned by the Porsche Holding SE. The Holding and the SE are two different companies but you are also including Porsche Design so this should count as well. 2. Ferrari has the biggest margin in the car industry

Bought a 2015 Porsche macan diesel S with 30,000 miles on the clock with full service history. I use it every day to and from work, a mix of A roads and motorway driving. Problems so far. Transfer box failure, spurious TPMS & parking sensor issues. DPF warning alert, squeaky wiper blades front & rear, deformed seat bolsters, wind noise on motorway. ALL common faults on this vehicle. Find yourself a good independent Porsche specialist to look after your pride and joy. Main dealers will want you bend over & touch your toes at EVERY opportunity. If you have more money than sense however and actually enjoy being shafted go then for it.

It started back in 1970's when a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast used a 2 cylinder water cooled engine that engineer's at Porsche had built.
