cool! did you wear (famously) "unwaterproof" dirt bike boots? With waterproof socks? When will someone make an MX boot that's waterproof?
@TheGirlOnABike3 жыл бұрын
haha yes I did. There are actually MX boots that are waterproof now, Alpinestars do them. BUT there is a big problem...they stop water coming in from the foot but they don't stop water going over the top and filling them...like a river crossing. If you have unwaterproof socks the water will then drain out but in waterproof boots it stays in! haha so it's actually worse to have waterproof boots in really wet situations. Madness. I'm 100% a fan of the socks. Warm dry feet...soppy wet boots... but no problem haha
@steveh5453 жыл бұрын
@@TheGirlOnABike awesome. Just read up on Alpinestars. Didn’t know they existed. And you’re correct, only waterproof up to the top. Awesome vids of Iceland. Definitely a bucket list for me.

@@TheGirlOnABike Sorry. I come from a ranching family. We love the land and environment. Lots of fake news out there. Our wetlands, trees, and foliage do lots to make oxygen and clean the air. @TheGirlOnABike3 жыл бұрын
Yeah big fines too, I hear up to 10k! They're terrain is so sensitive so it does make sense. It's the only place I've ever been were it still looks like nature is in control. No rubbish everywhere and human destruction, something worth preserving like they are....even if it's less fun hehe [there are LOADS of legal trails so it's not really an issue when you know where]
