When I saw this at The Muny I was completely absorbed in this scene. A person a few seats down from me sneezed and I jumped because I completely forgot there was even people around me. Such an amazing show. If you ever get a chance to experience it live RUN to your seats and get comfy because you wont be getting up til the end

I always saw it as a kind of regret for Kim. Despite her wanting to save her son, she knew it was wrong to actually shoot him and it still haunts her later in the scene where she sees his ghost
